Yes, it's still a long way to the world title, but are you sure it's only 125 points? This year there are sprint races at every race weekend with an additional 50% points?

I think this year will not be the rider who has the most wins in the last 5 (10 races) but with the most consistency and fewest crashes, here a TOP 3 place can be more important than a win or retirement, as in the 9th world championship of Rossi, he also won only through consistency and not always risked everything for the win.r

We are in a new race week now which is the United States GP. This is the place Verstappen will win another race comfortably then.    For now it is difficult to predict podium here. Because it has been quite changeable generally. But when we look at the results in the final races we see that there is a huge improvement in McLaren's performance.

Norris and Piastri have been on podium for two races. This makes me think about if they can maintain this streak with at least one driver. But it is better to see the practice session first. By the way we are going to have a sprint race once again. Maybe just like Piastri did recently we would see a different name winning a sprint race again.

F1 will be at Austion again for USA grand prix, still feels weird to call it USA grand prix because it was the only one for a while, yet they have 2 more now, with Las Vegas and Miami as well, so this should be like Texa GP or something, which would be fun to call it that to be fair, Texas is known by a lot of people all around the world. In any case, usually they call it the city name, not the state, it's not Nevada GP, it's Las Vegas GP, and it's not Florida GP, it's Miami GP.

Maybe that's because the recognition is bigger but they can't have 2 city names and 1 state name, that could be weird, or they can just do whatever they want they are a company. At this point, there is nothing to talk about the race itself, the winners are known, the rest of it would be regarding who will be second team and third team etc, it is going to be quite boring because it looks like there aren't anyone dominating the second position and it is all getting boring to see less overtakes.

Jorge Martin held his head after his crash as if he wanted to say the Mandalika circuit was too hard for him.
Pecco Bagnaia's victory in the #IndonesianGP was a prize given by Martin. That is suitable to describe the results of the race earlier.

Yes. Bagnaia must be able to win the race at Phillip Island because if not, Martin has the opportunity to overtake Pecco considering the difference is only 18 points and the remaining races are based on the calendar.

Phillip Island is a great circuit in Australia,a very technical one,I have been missing sometimes in a row the Indonesian GP so I have not seen any race taken there but if a rider says it was difficult then it means it was.In this upcoming track which even in old times have favored more Ducatti considering Casey Stoner,ex Aussie who first won a Championship in Ducatti when no one could used to win so many times in this track it will again be won by Ducatti.

I think though that Martin try to push a bit more than he needed and it costed him the crash,I am sure we will not see such crash in this upcoming track.

The story of Casey Stoner at Ducati and especially at Phillip Island is quite an amazing story because he was indeed the king of Phillip Island because in his prime, Casey Stoner was even able to win on a Ducati motorbike in poor condition. This means that he is indeed the king of the Phillip Island circuit apart from being the host there and for this week I am still quite confident in the Ducati manufacturer who will continue to improve their potential until the end of the season. Meanwhile, Jorge Martin will continue to provide one hundred percent encouragement for more points.

The US is almost a whole continent if not for Canada.  So if you include Canada, there's actually 4 GP's in North America.  And if you think about it, they could have a whole football league with different tiers just like the system the European leagues have when they promote and relegate football clubs.  But they could do it three times over.  That's how huge the US is.

I am guessing that if Mclaren could continue with both their drivers like this, even second position is quite possible for them and not impossible, the point difference is not that big and Hamilton could make mistakes again and could end up with a bad result.

If we see Mercedes driver outside of top 5 and McLaren drivers in top 5, and they can make it consistently like that too, then I am sure that the yare going to pass them without a doubt. Think about how late Mclaren got better, it was after the summer break, not like it was right before or right after, it too ka while for them to get better, we were in September or something when they got better and that alone made them so much better and we have very few races left, so they need to get podium finishes in all races, at least one of them.

Yes, it's still a long way to the world title, but are you sure it's only 125 points? This year there are sprint races at every race weekend with an additional 50% points?

If you calculate the winning points for the Sprint Race and Main Race in the remaining five series, then the points that will be contested by the riders who are able to win in the remaining five series are 185 points (Main Race = 125 and Sprint Race = 60) points. So in general there are still many gaps for several riders who are currently at the top of the standings.

I also agree more with consistency in gaining points with the condition that a rider must be able to finish ahead of an opponent who is not that far away from him in terms of points, even though he is not in a winning position. A small example is that if Jorge Martin can always finish ahead of Bagnaia in the five remaining series this season and be on the podium (although not the victory podium), Jorge Martin could become world champion this season.

I mean yeah, Alpha Romeo, Haas and the smaller teams prolly should be given a break and we shouldn't expect too much.  But Ferrari and Mercedes?  No excuse.

I agree,it is not the fault of a great driver who has refused better teams and stayed at Redbull even when Redbull was not at all dominating the Championship,I give credit to him for the loyalty given to Redbull which has been rewarded with 3 consecutive World Titles.I liked him when he said after winning his first title via radio "Let's do this for another ten years together" which again showed great belief in the team.

I also agree with the fact that Ferrari and Mercedes has absolutely no excuses when it comes to their budget and I would also add one of the oldest and successful teams of F1 history which they hold the fastest ever world record pit stop,McLaren also has no excuses.

I am very disappointed with Ferrari this year, I thought they were really making a step forward, but the opposite is true, the strategy mistakes or pit stop mistakes are not being corrected and there is no improvement in sight.

The car isn't really getting any better and I don't think they'll be able to produce a car that's really capable of winning until the big rule change in Formula 1, it's a real shame that Ferrari is acting so sloppily.

Today the MotoGP riders started walking around the Phillip Island circuit in Australia in fairly sunny weather and hopefully it won't rain tomorrow and it will still be sunny like today. Because the MotoGP schedule at the Phillip Island Australia circuit always means I have to wake up very early to be able to see every session from tomorrow to Sunday, but I will try to watch all the sessions because the races at Phillip Island Australia are usually always more exciting and very beautiful.

Last year the race at Phillip Island Australia was won by Alex Rins on a Suzuki motorbike which only had cornering speed, but I don't think that this season Yamaha will take advantage of that to win the race because Ducati also needs to be taken into account at Phillip Island Australia even though last year it only managed to finish in the top three after second place was taken by Marquez.

Aston Martin fell out of the podium battle as the season progressed and now they are trying to get back on track. I think they lost this year and i think with the updates Aston Martin will have a better start to the year and will fight well throughout the season. They are still spending time in the middle of the season with updates to build a good car for next year. Also, the updates have worked very well on the simulator data, and they could be the second strongest team at the United States GP and even win here if everything goes well.

I do think all the results of Aston Martin are backed up by Alonso in proportion of 90% because without him , Lance didn't really made a lot.

It's true , they did have a great start of the season followed up by a bad 2nd half of the season where the car really lost speed in the corners and then they lost the chance for a podium and slowly they are about to lose the 4th spot in favor of McLaren.

I've watched that video and I'm really impressed of how much tech is involved to improve outside circuit an F1 car.  I also think Ferrari and McLaren should give us similar videos in the future because Mercedes did this a while ago.

I think that no one really cares if Stroll will race or not except maybe his girlfriend  .As you say he has brought nothing to the table and even when he was racing in Force India and had a near win in Turkey he could not keep his performance consistently and that is the reason why he does not perform well,of course having your father as a comfort whatever happens most probably impacted him for the bad and not for the good like it did with Verstappen,sure Jost Verstappen has no team of his own but still can impact a few things in F1 for you when it comes to choosing the right team and as such no one gives a damn about a second Perez I would call Stroll.

Yup, def McLaren should be in that list of teams that should start picking up the slack.  They're making the sport boring for the fans by not finding ways to get up to speed in car development as Red Bull.  And the funny thing is, the fans of the other teams itt blame the FIA, blame Red Bull instead of blaming their own team for not doing a good job.

And, yeah I like Red Bull and Verstappen, Vettel, Horner, Newey, Ricciardo, etc, etc...  But if they suck, you see me laugh about it too.  So to everybody, just lighten up and don't get too wound up about it.

Everybody want to stop seeing Stroll on F1, i hope next year he is not more between the 20 drivers of the grid, he have so many chances to show us and the world how good he is, and he never sho anything good, the only one time when he show some quality was in that Turkish Gp.

Stroll has mentioned his interest in tennis before. I recommend him to go after his passion.    Who knows maybe he would be more successful in that sport.

It looks like it will be quite difficult for Aston Martin to keep the 4th place against McLaren in the remaining races. Because there has been a huge improvement in McLaren's performance. They are standing strong with both of their drivers recently. Alonso will try to carry his team in these races by himself probably. He will just hope that McLaren drivers have bad races from now on.
