As expected another easy win for MAx.

Driver of the day, Sainz without any doubt. Today he has been a monster.

Yup...  Is Leclerc just not trying hard to get as much from his car anymore?  I feel like he's starting to fade and just want to get this season over and done with to start anew on 2024.  He says Ferrari promised him a really good car next year.  I think it's a crock of sht as the Ferrari brass just wants him to commit and sign a new long term contract.

But we'll see and I hope I'm wrong.  Seeing RBR winning a lot of podiums again next year would be meh.

Crazy crash by Bagnaia, luckily nothing more happened and Binder didn't hurt him anymore, seems like the crash was not too bad. Congratulations to Aprilia though, if I'm not mistaken it was the first ever double win for Aprilia. Very nice.

There were two crashes on the same lap the first lap on a very close corner. The first accident that occurred at the first corner involving several riders was because Enea Bastianini was unable to control his motorbike from a rather deep corner so he dragged several other riders using Ducati motorbikes. And he himself suffered an injury to his left leg because it might have been hit by another motorbike.

Meanwhile, the second accident that happened to Bagnaia at the next corner was because he bounced off the motorbike. So that Brad Binder, who was behind, could not avoid his motorbike so that it ran over Bagnaia's legs and the one who was very lucky in the incident was Bagnaia who did not suffer any injuries. So that Bagnaia can still appear this weekend at San Marino Misano later

Seeing how Leclerc has performed in the last few races, I quite agree with what you say. Leclerc doesn't look like he's trying any better with the car he drives. He seemed to be trying to play it safe, even though if he could play better he should be able to get a better position. I think if Sainz continues to get unfair treatment from Ferrari, maybe he will leave this team for a better team.

I don't think Sainz has ever received unfair treatment from Ferrari and in fact in this last race his radio message "Guys let's bring this home" was fully supported by the team which told Leclerc soon after,race to the end but let's not risk it.
I think that Leclerc got really nervous by this message and that is why he made those many mistakes which completely consumed his tires during his fight against Sainz,if he was a bit more calm I am pretty confident he would have passed Sainz in the end as Sainz was racing already with the tires gone.

I agree with you. It wasn't an unfair attitude by Ferrari just because they let their drivers compete against each other in the last laps. The team just wanted a fair fight without big risks. Because they couldn't afford a possible crash while everything was going much better compared to the previous races.

Leclerc went all in the last moments but there was a great defending by Sainz. Considering how Sainz kept Verstappen behind for 15 laps I expected him to keep ahead of Leclerc until the end as well.

@swogerino Ferrari wants to retain Leclerc why I don’t understand because he’s been a mediocre driver and has done nothing to earn an extension on his current contract. Lastly I agree with you’ll about Sainz and I personally feel that Ferrari should allow him now to take more leads because he’s actually doing well and can deliver unlike Leclerc who’s just not doing enough in my personal opinion.

I am a McLaren fan and at McLaren I didn't like him much but I must have been wrong as that must have been the car limitation.Now Sainz at Ferrari is showing that when he has a really good performing car like the one in Monza which had great speed in the straight he kept Verstappen behind for 15 laps and if it were not for his personal mistake I think he would have kept him behind at least until lap 25-28 the lap when he did the pit stop.If Ferrari increase in performance I am sure Sainz will do too.

Leclerc extension is also good for Ferrari as there are not available many good drivers to replace him and that is why he is still a good option for them.

Audi in recent years has improved a lot as a brand being now competing directly with Mercedes or BMW and in many European countries being preferred as the top brand in the world by the customers.This however does not mean that they will be performing well right away in the F1 as they have no experience in F1,sure they have a lot of experience in Le Mans series and even won them with the R17 version of the race car (not sure about this) but in Formula 1 you need a whole lot more than that.I agree though,they can improve pretty quickly and Sainz will be happy to be there when this happens.

Today Marco Bezzecchi has broken Pecco Bagnaia's record time in the FP2 session so he has set the best time with a new record today and put it first today. In addition, Marc Marquez, who had followed Dani Pedrosa in the session, also immediately qualified for Q2, which he will live tomorrow at the San Marino Grand Prix. Only on the one hand, I was a little surprised by Dani Pedrosa who still looked quite competitive with his KTM today even though he only had a wild card for the San Marino Grand Prix at the end of this week.

About Audi they are one of the brands with a big history just as Mercedes. This makes me think like maybe Audi can also be very competitive when they enter Formula 1 in 2026. However on the other hand Mercedes are very experienced in Formula 1 now. They have been in this sport for many years.

Audi will be new around here unlike them. Therefore I don't know about whether they would do a good job in their first times. Transferring Sainz in their first season already would be a big move for them surely.

But they will need some experience here and most importantly qualified engineers as much as possible to be competitive in a shorter time period.

Ferrari wants to get a hold of Leclerc in a long term contract because he's the only one they got right now.  Imagine if he just left and drove for some other team, and for spitballing's sake let's say Mercedes got him because Hamilton retired.  Who would get the drive?  There are no other drivers worthy out there to take the seat unless the driver's name is Max Verstappen.  And remember, this is Ferrari we're talking about.  They can't just take anybody without considering the marketability and popularity of the driver. 

If they had the chance to sign Verstappen, pretty sure they would get rid of Leclerc in a heart beat.  Lol.  But with Verstappen it's prolly the whole package.  If you get Verstappen, you should also get Horner and Newey just like how they did it with Schumacher, Ross Brawn and the Benetton engineers.

Dani Pedrosa raced very well yesterday and almost came close to the podium on his KTM motorbike, even though he hasn't raced for a long time and yesterday and today he only ran a wildcard slot on the factory KTM team. And yes, it was extraordinary because he was able to finish fourth in the Sprint Race yesterday at a young age, meaning he managed to beat 19 other young riders yesterday in the Sprint Race. Today will probably be even more fierce because the weather conditions are very favorable and the riders at the top of the standings will definitely give everything to win again, especially for Martin, Bezzecchi and Bagnaia who were all on the podium yesterday.

I have a feeling that Marco Bezzecchi will win the race at the Misano circuit.
This is not because Marco Bezzecchi is a rider from Italy who acts as host at the Misano circuit, but because of several other things.
This race could be called a showcase for Italian riders, not Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia, but my hunch is more towards Bezzecchi from what I saw during the sprint race even though Bezzecchi's sprint race results were not champions.

Dani Pedrosa is now 37 years old because he was born on September 29 1985 and will almost be 38 years old soon. Today Dani Pedrosa was also very close to getting a podium because he was able to get close to Pecco Bagnaia who was in third position, this is truly extraordinary for Dani Pedrosa who is no longer young but was still able to achieve such good results through a wild card. Today's podium finishers are no different from yesterday even though today's race was a little more exciting than yesterday.

This is a great track from what I remember and I am sure is going to be a pretty interesting race,I like more F1 of course but a weekend without racing is boring so going to be happy watching the MotoGP race.

After the San Marino MotoGP race there is also a race for WSBK which will soon start Race2 and I will also watch it because the competition for points in WSBK is still very fierce. So this weekend was really packed with motorbike racing.

But unfortunately when Bezzecchi was in second place, his laps were no longer many and Jorge Martin was already quite far ahead, making Bezzecchi unable to follow Jorge Martin until the end of the race.
