We are currently working on the issue and hope to have some information soon.

Mining servers are fine and cached shares like they are supposed too. Our database is playing catch up with namecoin shares as our main namecoin daemon crashed. As soon as it works through all 55 million shares the mining servers will then start sending the cached information over to the main server.

Mining Both Bitcoin and Litecoin.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Thank you for the update, and the good work you guys do on the pool.

CGminer has not reverted to my backup pool and Ozcoin is still accepting shares, so thats a good sign a least. I would prefer to keep mining at Ozcoin, provided all shares are counted, so I guess I'll just have to live without the fancy stats for a while then. I really don't feel comfortable staring at those red offline workers though Tongue

I guess this is a bigger issue than I thought. I also noticed as other are that my 24 hr payout is lower than normal. Just went to check on my workers and ozcoin.net is down.

I picked a bad few days to holiday with bad internet :/

A namecoind crashed causing a huge backlog of shares, this affected performance of the db server but also stats and block announces.

I am still catching up after getting home. The team has done a great job of keeping things going in my absence.

We have identified a few issues we need to work on Smiley

Thanks for the patience guys Smiley

I really would like an AU mining node again. Finding something with affordable bandwidth is an issue, once Ozcoin is paying all its bills I will consider putting some of the profit towards a mining node Smiley
had a couple of offers from ppl over time, none have come through.

We are finding a bottleneck in the database at about 1550Ghash where shares come in quicker than DB can clear them, shares, stats and block announces are delayed.
We are aware of the issue and will be working to optimise the db and calls on it to resolve this over the next hours.
Sorry for any inconvenience

Slipped into second place! Nice!

And now you're having db problems because you're so popular? There are a bunch of pools that would like to have your problem Wink

I've always found the front end to be slow.  That's why I was astounded to see the default refresh period on the official widget to be 10 seconds.  10 seconds!!!

Mine won't go lower than a minute.

Is this why 2 of my 3 miners are reporting shares and hashrates, but the third (and largest) is reporting a hashrate but no shares?

Also, I was wondering why the namecoin round duration doesn't reset everytime we get a bitcoin block.  I thought because of the nature of namecoin, every bitcoin block is also a namecoin block?

possibly, statistics are delayed and while site is offline quite possibly entirely wrong. Shares are being stored and counted, about a 3/4 hour delay atm, down from several hours when I went to bed.

If a miner on port 8331 (Bitcoin ONLY mining) finds a Bitcoin block there will be no nmc block - shares are not even submitted to nmc.

Site is back online,
Stats will still be delayed
Work will continue over the next few days, the site or mining *might* be offline at times (please ensure failover is set in miners)
We have identified some issues and to be able to scale will need to do some major rewriting of code.
Apologies for any inconvenience
