Both my workers are reporting that they are idle - but my rigs show everything to be normal, again. Are there any problems with eustratum? And is my work being registered? Thanks.
Edit: Back up again. Very strange this. Anyone else losing contact with their eustratum workers?

Pool stucked somewhere with BTC payout, and shows credits for DGM even though I used just PoT/Stratum and than PPS/GW merged-mining.
Hey Graet, you will scam me for those 0.1+ BTC or what? Not sure if english is actually your first language, but the attitude/wording of your question comes off pretty rude. Next time, may I suggest wording your question thusly: "Graet, is it possible you could please look into my account and see why I haven't received a payout of +0.1BTC? Thanks"

Graet,
I gotta say, the stratum is working excellent here, well done. I've been sitting at 985% efficiency pretty much since I joined and have never had such a low reject rate in my life. Kudos.

The pools payout per block varies on DGM there is no "should be 25" as it varies from round to round depending also on shares in previous rounds, you have chosen 2 particularly short rounds as examples https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=39497.msg481864#msg481864 is an explanation of how DGM works you will also notice we have added some new columns, these will show DGM, PPS and POT payouts and totalled to show how much the pool is actually paying per block as the DGM stats are somewhat skewed by PPS and POT payouts currently. there is no "POT cut that goes to the block founder" as block finders can be on any of the 3 payout methods. The pool does have to payout to POT and PPS miners as well as DGM miners

Is anyone else's workers reporting that they are idle? Both my rigs indicate everything is normal but my two workers are showing 0 hashrate and have been idle for over 20 minutes. Restarting the miners makes no difference. On eustratum 3333........cheers
EDIT: Workers just came online again. This happens rarely in my case on eustratum, probably once a week or so, but it's annoying when you get an email alert and can do nothing about it. Even though the workers say they are idle my rigs report everything normal & are crunching away merrily - I have no idea if the rigs are submitting work or not when the workers are down - any ideas Graet?
Peace.

Just woke up, finding out, Seems there was an "attack" on the server that hosts us.ozco.in and the ltc site (not sure yet which was actual target), the drop in communications between the server and the main www/db server caused incorrect stats displays on the site A reminder to set another Ozcoin mining node as backup - unfortunately network issues and attacks seem to be more common than we would hope, most of the time these things are only affecting one node though. All submitted shares during this time are counted, mining nodes also cache shares in case the main www/db server goes offline We have spent a lot of time making sure potential loss of shares is minimised in case of server/network/attack issues. aaaand stratum.ozco just had a glitch and was rebooted

Thanks for the info Graet, I currently have eustratum:3333 as primary with eustratum:80 as backup, would it be wiser to use a different stratum server as backup do you think - or does this sound OK to you? Keep up the good work, it's a great pool .

Just got Hello Graeme,
We have scheduled emergency network maintenance this weekend as below to apply a critical security patch to our core network.
The following services you hold with us will be effected by this event:
Date / Time: Saturday, February 2nd at 10:00 - 11:00 PM
Time Zone: Perth time (WST, GMT+8)
Services Effected: All websites, e-mail services, virtual and co-located servers will have a network interruption.
Window: We expect this outage should take approximately 10 minutes, however we have allowed a 1 hour window to accomodate any unexpected issues.
This will affect the www/db server which will be offline Mining nodes cache shares so a 10 minute outage will not cause issues

Concerns, and not with OzCoin.
I was with OzCoin for months a while back, and decided to try something different for a while. I recently came back with half of the machines I share with a partner. After giving enough time for DGM rewarding to kick in fully, I started doing some comparisons with the numbers in OzCoin and in this other pool. I found something that seems a bit alarming, but I want to make sure I'm thinking about this correctly. Can others please help me check my math and assumptions:
Pool Pool TH Pool GH My GH My Share % Est Rewards ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pool 1 1.39 TH 1390 10.31 0.007417266 0.15900253 BTC OzCoin 1.547 TH 1547 10.34 0.006683904 0.186400 BTC
If I am looking at these numbers correctly, I was doing 0.7% more relative work on pool 1, but for that same work, I was getting credited 17.4% less for that work in the rewards. Also, I am not aware of a fee charged by Pool 1, and know OzCoin charges 1%. Lastly, I am pretty sure DGM had fully 'kicked in', if you will, but if not, that would have been in Pool 1's favor, if anything.
Can anyone help me with what I'm missing here?
Thanks.
