Hotmetal - what miner are you using and what settings? Thanks

Genoil and using -k zec zec zec
(that will use close to 6 GB of ram on your GPU)

thanks hotmetal.... my 6x480 just went overdrive!

that zec x 3 = 3 zec instances?

My rig:
Sapphire 480 8gb vram
celeron 1840 on H81 BTC Pro
8gb RAM, SSD 120GB

I assume the triple ZEC instance only runs on 470/480 cards? Defiantly helps those, but I have 4 rigs running 2 X 295X2 (4 GPU total) and the triple instance crashed the whole box. Needed a hard boot.

works on 8GB cards.  it is ~1700MB per instance, though this was reduced to like 1250 or so on recent update, so maybe doable on 4GB.  Also need to have a large page file, or some instance will crash with openCL error.  For 4 GPUs, I set 20GB page file to be able to do 2 instances each.  Get ~35MH on genoil, though the miner is unstable.  Get ~29MH on newer https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1660023.0  Sapphire RX-470 8GB cards, default clocks.

Try "-k zec zec" for 295X2  Cool

Yep, tried that. Made swap min 20g and max 40g, ran with -k zec zec and getting

zconn not accepted : null 20

but hash per card is about 35-36 which with one instance was 29-30, but not accepted

basicaly there is Genoil on AMD making some progress , djm flashed sick digits and afterwards showed middle finger to nvidia userbase , so we are left without any kind of dev progress and any idea if actualy anyone plan to do some cuda based coding.

Nvidia would work better with OpenCL if Nvidia didn't middle finger anything not proprietary, and push CUDA so hard. The only reason CUDA was ever invented was vendor lock, and so they started it early to stranglehold the GPGPU market.  AMD cards are a lot better perf/dollar for the popular coins anyway, so it makes sense to prioritize AMD.

This. Fuck Nvidia and their proprietary crap. AMD constantly makes things open source and offers them to Nvidia, who always basically say "thanks, but piss off". AMD for me, all the way.

RUMOR HAS IT THAT HE SOLD IT--

There is chatter that he sold it to a mining company.  He is not going to release it any time soon; and people that pester him probably make his life miserable.       --scryptr

Big hash rate jump today, so there could be some truth to this.

DJM34 IS A CRYPTO-CODER--

He wrote mining code for Lyra2rev2 and NeoScrypt.  Adaptations of his code have become extremely fast.  VertCoin (VTC), using Lyra2rev2, became profitable (again) earlier this year.       --scryptr

I own 15 pcs of 5*R9 390x and 5*480x rigs.Installed V7.3 version and mining ether solo.

3 days ago I asked for a static IP from my telecom operator.

Yestereday, my rigs quited mining.I changed my pool (from coinotron to coinmine.pl).My static ip rigs gave up mining however my internet connection is fast and seems stable.

Do you experience such a problem?I connect from Serbia to Europe servers. The room is a well cooled room, with low humidity, electricity understructure is a 3 phase and grounded. So the temperature and power are eliminated among the possible causes.

1-2 days I think.
For what driver you will optimize this time?
There is big difference between 15.12 and newer ones. Also from newer ones 16.9.1 seems best. Next best choice 16.9.2 final, atleast in my tests.
