If i run in claymore 7.1 my HD 7990 i have only 36 Mhs ... If i run on ethproxy+ethminer i have 50 mhs why this? Thanks
Because claymore reports the hash rate accurately. I dont think this is the exactly problem ... There are other question i think ... Ethminer show costant 50 mhs and The HD 7990 working fine ... Whit ckaymore this card work many many to hard... And i cant find what is the problem ... And hashrate in solo or dual mode its equal for this GPU near 17+17 ... On ethminer show 50 or 25+25 mhs ... I am telling you that is EXACTLY the problem. It is a normal speed for hd 7990, it got slower over time mining ETH due to the dag file size increase. I had one and it had the exact same speed. You can use ethminer and see 50mh if it makes you feel better. Void is correct. Your card is basically (2x)7970 and this card used to do 25, but now is doing 17 or less. The question you should be asking is "Why ethminer shows incorrect 50 hashrate for my 7990"

Hello, I have a problem when I overclock my six 480´s Sapphire 8Gb. I have 2 .bat´s, one with OC and another one with no OC. When I want to OC the cards I have to do this sequence: - If I open the OC .bat, the cards run in the standard hashrate (25Mh/s) . I have to copy it to the "start folder" and reboot Windows 10. - When Windows starts, it automatically runs the OC.bat but I get the standard hashrate again. I checked the file that was running was "OC.bat" in the top of the window. - I have to copy the no OC.bat to the start folder and reboot Windows 10 and...voilá, I get the 27Mh/s. If I have any problem and the Rig reboots it gets the standard hashrate again I have checked the config.txt and it´s empty and I´m using the v7.1. Any idea of what´s happening? Thanks EthDcrMiner64.exe -tt 65 -r 1 -mode 1 -cclock 1220,1220,1220,1220,1220,1220 -cvddc 920,920,920,920,920,920 -mclock 2250,2250,2250,2250,2250,2250 -mport 3856 -epool eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal 0xxxxxxxxxx... Add a pause at the beginning of your bat file, seems like wattman is loading after the miner and then overriding your overclock Someting like choice /m "Please wait" /d N /T 10 /C N to wait 10 seconds (change the /T value to change the delay)

Hi, I am trying to setup a miner with 6 rx480 on windows10 using the latest version of Claymore's dual miner and crimson driver 16.9.1.
I have setup a very simple batch file to start mining on nanopool, but claymore crashes on startup.
The batch looks like
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal 0xd69af2a796a737a103f12d2f0bcc563a13900e6f -epsw x -eworker rig1 -etha 0
Any idea of what it could be? Thank you
1 drivers issue delete your drievers mate...and install again...? 2 you need r to give to your cards more power ? 3 batch has nothing to do but you don't need it mate - already done driver installation and reinstallation, tried 16.9.1, then tried 16.9.2, then back to 16.9.1 again (I am currently using this one) - I have one 1200w psu which should be more than enough for 6 reference rx480 - I am currently trying this batch setup, but nothing seems to work: setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0xfDfcC58320D2D4118660246aebDED5bAe942A7a0.armyman1 -epsw x pause ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please guys HELP cause this is getting ridiculous now, I have been trying to mine for 3 days with different miners and none seems to work. I would like to mine with claymore software, but on win10 it always says "EthDCrMiner64.exe stopped working" Has someone already experienced this? Is something wrong with my OS? Any real help is deeply appreciated, thanks.

armyman your PSU isn't enough. You shouldn't run a PSU at more than 80% of it's rating. rx480's can pull up to about 225 watts each, which is 1,350 watts. You have up to another 150-200 watts for the system also, excluding the vid cards. So you are over 1500 watts on a 1200 watt PSU. Of course it will not be stable. A 1600 watt PSU will run 6 480's and the system....just. It is still pushing the limit a bit much when you factor in the 80% rule....but it will run stable.

I started at 51M/h and now I am on 32.6(16.3 + 16.3) overclocking does help but not by much.

The miner doesnt start - this isnt a problem by psu power. If psu power fails, the system shuts down.

The miner doesnt start - this isnt a problem by psu power. If psu power fails, the system shuts down. It is the PSU, during start up and DAG process the system draws more power. His ETH process is starting, but stops. Easy way to find out.....disable all the cards but one in the command line options, then enable them one at a time until the crashing starts again

@Claymore I am going to mirror the sentiment that intensity needs to be reduced during dag generation. Previous memory OCs were stable, now with the latest epoc they are no longer stable during generation. Please add the ability to reduce intensity on the miner during DAG generation.
I can generate the dag without a memory OC just fine then OC the memory after the miner is running and it works. If I try to generate the DAG while the memory OC is in place the GPUs crash.

What cards do you use that can mine with high mem speed but crash during dag generation? If it is new rx4x0 then you should know that raising memory to high can provide better hashrate in miner window but less actual shares due to memory errors. You shouldn't push memory that high.
