Good news: I'm going to release my ZEC miner in a few hours so all ZEC-related discussion will move to new thread finally Bad news: I was not reach 100h/s on 390 in this version. I'm going to improve speed, but people want to have miner asap so I will release it as is, about 50h/s on stock 390X. I don't like to hurry so further improvements will be added later. FUCKING YES!I'll wait...i don't care if i sleep very late tonight or early morning Latest Silent army release, which is free, without a fee, does 50 as well.. isn't that something? Can you use silent army miner on EVERY pool? Is it rock stable?

Basically many miners out right now that support most cards ........except Nvidia
Coins4All Miner with new SA kernel Nicehash v4 added SA kernel yesterday Genoil V6 - very unstable but works with simple loops Silentarmy V3 - only linux released a few hours ago
Many choices....

That's 'cause Nvidia are being greedy bastards and locking their source up.

Very excited about the release of the new ZEC miner.. Thanks in advance Claymore.
Ive got a question about the current miner version 7.3 and was wondering if anyone can tell me if there was any increase in hashrate from version 6.4beta , which I am currently using, as I do not want to go upset the apple cart if its not necessary. All cards are RX470 OC Hynix and was getting about 25mh before changing to ZEC with Extermal miner and currently getting 35 sols per card. Excited to bump it up to 50 sols ASAP :-)

Seems Claymore is taking mrb's silentarmy version 3 work and monetizing it as part of his miner to mine ZEC.

That's bullshit. I just tried with 6 GPUs. 60% loss in hashrate + full crash of the system. I just tried once but the result was absolutely terrible.
EDIT : Also crashed from a friend.
Try my setup. Woot! I increased my earnings big time now. OS: Windows 7 64 bit Miners: nheqminer_v0.3a, genoil-0.4.1, Claymore 8.0.7nheqminer (CPU, R9 280x: = 37 Sol/s genoil-0.4.1 (RX 480, R9 380x): = 21.78 Sol/s Claymore (mining Eth): = 45.6 MH/s Pools: Coinotron and Suprnova CPU: AMD FX-8370 Eight-Core Processor Claymore by itself 60 MH/s nheqminer by itself 50 Sol/s Total Mining now. Ethereum: 45.6 MH/s ZCash: 58.78 Sol/s. I actually increased over my solo mining of ZCash. If you do not have older cards like R9 280x you may get by with just genoil-0.4.1 for GPU and nheqminer for CPU mining. Ok now many will probably want to know what my start scripts are setup as so here you go. My 3 start scripts for the mining @echo off set GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool coinotron.com:3344 -ewal <worker.name> -esm 2 -epsw <password> -allpools 1 -ethi 1,1,1 @echo on genoil.exe -c zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -u <worker.name> -p <password> -g 1 2 nheqminer_suprnova.exe -u <worker.name> -p <password> -t 4 -od 0 Where did you find that version? I believe the latest is 7.3 If dual mining like this was possible, I don't think we would have seen the global hash rate drop so much.

The dev fee will stay the same. Claymore is not greedy, he knows 1% of a good miner is more than enough to make some money while keeping a faithful comunity More than 1% will probably take away a significant part of the current legion of miners using his stuff

It takes time and skill to write a good stable and efficient miner. I have absolutely no problem with paying someone for their time to do this and release it publicly. Would you prefer people with these skills to create private miners so only they capitalise? Or perhaps have some steep upfront fee? If a miner works well, is stable and gives me a consistent hash rate it will automatically be a few % faster than a buggy one that needs to be restarted constantly. If there are tweaks and enhancements to give me a greater hash rate - so much the better. If I share a percentage of these additional gains with the developer as a way of paying for his/her time - I'm more than happy with that. If the dev fee erodes the improvement and means that it becomes less efficient for me to use than other miners, then clearly I won't use it - that's my choice and something the miner developer should take in to account. All of you have the same choice so I don't understand what all this complaining is about

If it's not, i honestly don't see the point in using something that is open source and without a fee elsewhere..

By the time its launched, zec will be less profitable then eth... I got all my machines switched over to zcash finally running stable and the price has dropped by 50% while difficulty increases 200% every couple days. another week i might switch back to eth for stability.

Yeah I'm watching ETH and XMR to try to decide when to resume mining them. It's really hard to predict when that point will be - when everyone else switches back over is too late
