I started saving my bitcoins in june 2016, I will only use it when the situation calls it,  Fortunately I only made 4 transactions (Send ones) since then .

I'm planning to buy a hardware wallet to keep a huge amount of btc and will let it sleep for years until bitcoins price sky rockets and funds earned from signature campaign will be transferred to it and the other funds from trading, gambling etc. will be on my desktop wallet to spend .

Well, this time I only store around 0.1 to 0.2 BTC in my wallet. see people who save tens of BTC makes me envious and wanted to have a lot of bitcoin, but I can not store a lot of bitcoin in a long time, because bitcoin also have an important role to fulfill my needs every day. maybe I'll try to save the BTC more
Wow you are really great saving your bitcoins ha where you bitcoin came from in signature campaign or in trading? i really wanted to save bitcoin for the future or in my upcoming birthday and i want a brandnew laptop that i will gift it to my self maybe i'll try to save now i have a inpiration .

Just make sure you can control yourself whilst gambling. It would be a shame if you'd gamble away everything in your hardware wallet.
Self-control is of utmost importance here Wink.

But I like the idea of buying something like KeepKey, although I'm not sure if it's worth those $99.

It is a good plan and honestly this is also my plan before but every year the price of bitcoin is increase and every year it is hardly to get bitcoin.. so if you keep save your bitcoin after few years without saving you can make a large profit in the future.. but honestly in my experience because i save few bitcoins but i still use some of my bitcoin because many site right now is are accepting bitcoin.. this christmass planning to buy a cellphone or buy a mining just to test if i can make a good profit in mining not for bitcoin for altcoin buying PC that i can use in mining that can also install 4 GPU and i7 CPU. so that we can also use it in gaming while mining.

He is doing it right, slow but surely is the key to save here. Do not push yourself to  much when you can't achieve a target, just improve slowly. You can accumulate bigger amount in the future.

Just recently got into BTC; I have 2.5 saved up.
Plan on taking 25% of each of my paychecks and accumulating and seeing what will happen in 2017 or later in the year.

Thoughts? Ideas? Speculation? Advice? Tips?

 Huh

Honestly i didn't save any bitcoin because my earning is not so decent. So, whenever i earn some btc ,i spend it fast. So, till now i didn't save any bitcoin. But saving bitcoin is a very good idea.Since bitcoin price is increasing fast and its becoming much stable,we all should trust bitcoin.besides, since bitcoin price is increasing its a good idea to save bitcoin, thus it will give us profit without any work.we can keep our bitcoin on a exchange sites or cold storage.

You must have a specific target amount, otherwise you will end up selling your bitcoin. In addition, it's necessary that you will understand that the amount you invest is the amount not need for your daily expenses.

When you put money into Bitcoin, it has to be extra cash that you can afford to lose. When you have bills to pay, you have to resist the urge to touch your coins and, in fact, pretend you have never heard of Bitcoin at all!

Under construction.

Did you ever think about not gambling the money you have in BTC and instead save it up?
Gambling is fine, but try to control yourself and quit before losing everything.
Just some advice from a random Smiley.

I always use bitcoin I have when there's something I have to pay in the real world. to be honest, I often get a bitcoin, probably in large numbers, but today I had a poor financial management, so now I just save less than 0.05 BTC in place exchanger that I use to store bitcoin

I don't recommend storing your BTC at an exchanger though. It's much safer to store your BTC in your own wallet. As websites can go offline at any given time.

Since bitcoin is an investment, we have to diversify our investment and we can do that buy storing our bitcoin in different wallet, we can store in online  exchange sites but make sure not all of our bitcoins.

Wow man, I wish I have that amount either. I don't have even a single bitcoin and it was already used for the things that I need to spend.

And I invested some of it with trading of alt coin which is now not good enough because of the bitcoins rapid price increase.

But I hope that I can have 1 bitcoin at the end of January 2017.
