Be on the lookout - I've seen on the darknet services that are able to change 21 waiting day periods down to 3, instant resolves of disputes, and forced-pay of money requests. These are on very obscure darknet sites, but they are most certainly legitimate. The vendor is charging alot, and has made many sales with all 5* feedback.

Be careful!!!

I am not so sure the real reason behind why PayPal does not like PTC sites but maybe it is because PayPal considers many PTCs to be just another type of scams. Except maybe with some PTCs who have proven themselves to be very legit like Neobux and Clixsense. Well, to be honest it can also be true that many PTCs are made just to scam people or at least leave their members behind at a small glitch. PayPal because it is under an intense scrutiny with regulators decided not to be associated with 'scammy" programs.

As far as I know, there were scams among PTC sites in the past, for example, the Probux scam. I had been following the train of events back then, the Probux forum made an interesting and enjoyable read, but the names you just called have been in the business for many years (close to a decade, if I'm not mistaken). As an aside, they are pretty much like today's Bitcoin faucets and your earnings are pathetic there unless you manage to enroll thousands of active referrals (as is the case with Bitcoin faucets). So I don't know why PayPal doesn't love these PTC sites (they seem to be legit, though I'm not using them myself)

If it doesn't really love them, in the first place

PayPal can be a big headache and pain in the ass. Aside from reversal of payments, PayPal is known to be very strict if your account is under investigation for any reason and they have the habit of deciding things unilaterally meaning you will not be fully informed of the accusations against your account. PayPal is never marketers-friendly and that is why online marketers are now gradually (if not en masse) moving to alternatives including Bitcoin. Soon, digital product marketers will be exclusively doing business via Bitcoin. Hope that soon PayPal can be a thing of the past. Smiley

Almost got a method for bitcoins / paypals down, which will be safe for sellers. I'll post in this thread.

Sellers can sell on Paypal, lose the chargeback but not get hit. They callin me crazy in the other thread because they think you can't bypass a simple system lol. There is a bypass to everything.

I mean using PayPal is completely fine though, right? I often use it to purchase steam games and apparel from online stores since its so fast and easy. We should just be careful of accepting money via Paypal, correct?

That pretty much it. Its the receiver who is having the risks (It doesn't matter If It was sent as gift, donation or for services), a sender have nothing to be worried about.

Bullshit, they absolutely are.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

What are everyone's thoughts on using paypal if I am selling a physical coin? for example, I will soon be selling a Casascius 1 BTC coin. Same problem, or since it is an actual physical object I can prove the package was delivered in case of a dispute?

You can't prove what was in the package.

The OP's , er, OP was last updated in 2013.

Is Neteller https://www.neteller.com/en/ a reversible method of payment?  I've had someone PM me concerning using it for a transaction (not with me) and I need some guidance.
