Tested on couple of rigs , one with e3-1225 , the other with Celeron 1820
both the rigs gave me highest CPU usage with NV platform...

For each brand power limiting react differently, so its a bit hard to use same settings, for instance Gainward phenix 1070 with power limit at 85% droping voltage to 0.92v (GPU-z readings) which might be unstable for clock over 1900mhz, even more power limit of 75% will drop it as low as 0.84v
I did some tests with lybr and 85% and 1900mhz is stable, but other light algo might push clock more and restart the PC
For instance MSI 1070 does not drop voltage at all that low with power limit

Anyone tried the nicehash miner yet?
Btw they say they are already paying

NiceHash is the only pool that already pays you for mining. Current rate is about 0.003 BTC per 50 Sol/s for day of mining.

look here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1661160.0 this is a fork that support suprnova only, and it is forked from that one of nicehash, but at least here you can mine zcash instead of btc directly like with nicehash, i find this better

Genoil’s ZEC Miner

Genoil13h
With the Silent Army just marching in, I figured it was pointless to submit for the open source contest, as well as putting a devfee on anything that's just about as fast as what nicehash are publishing very soon. And besides, my fame in crypto land was partially made by actually publishing Windows binaries in an easy to find place so I though let's continue like that.

github.com 1.2k

Genoil/ZECMiner

ZECMiner - ZCash AMD OpenCL stratum miner for Windows

There are several reasons why I don't publish the source of this. One of them is that I want to save you the pain of having to go through this awful junk. Another one is that I have evil plans with this junk. And finally I got John's CUDA solvers without any license stuck onto them a few weeks back, so I have no idea what he wants me to do with it.

All I know is that this works on suprnova with at least Hawaii (390X @20), Ellesmere (470 @14) and Fiji (Fury@23) (very approximate numbers there), so I hope it does for you too! Feedback and suggestions are very much appreciated!

Have fun!

I think I can get my 980ti to mine @ 1GHASH as well. But a waste of time.
They tested the opencl bitcoinminer, wich is slower than ccminer.
You can get the performance of the 1080 for free if you just know wich software to run.
And which software as of now is the best to run on the 980ti to get 1080 hashing power?
Has this changed in the last 2.5 months that is was posted?

pretty sure my ASUS Strix 1070 (micron) might be an RMA - after ~3months of working fine, it now crashes after a few hours of mining and I need to either reboot or force the display driver to restart.

i switched the ribbon riser to USB3 without any change. next step is to put it on a different system and see if the issue follows

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
No longer a wannabe - now an ASIC owner!

Does anyone know if there is an effort to improve the hash rate on XMR with these cards?

sp_ seems to have made a private miner that make 900+ h/sec on gtx 1070, but he's been silent for the last week. So we dunno if it's going to be closed private, private with donation.

it doesn't really matter, even at 1000 hash it's more profitable to mine zcash, the diff increased on monero

Also zec nethash sometimes mystically jumps to 90Mh/s, hard to make mining profitability calculations. Wonder where that hash comes from.
