I think no more than 300k people in the world are still active using bitcoin

Bitcoin users are not measurable as a chart or count since there are so many users and one person holds 2 or more accounts so this cannot be a accurate data sorting by account. There is a difficult way to track through IP address track on users. May some technical legend can get it done.

i think that there are a lot more people that are using bitcoins because there are even shops dedicated for bitcoins where people buy and sell stuff for bitcoins every day

i would predict that at least 100 million people use bitcoin from time to time because a lot of people know about it so they might be using it sometimes too in my opinion

Its hard to know how many people using bitcoin and have a bitcoin. But I guess million people using it and many other country. Bitcoin is now so popular because of the price .

Its really difficult to calculate the exact percentage of people using bitcoin, but one thing is sure, the users are increasing on regular basis and it will go much higher in future.

I think it is between 200,000 to 500,000 users. We have about 800,000 users account here, but I think we just have about 100,000 unique users.

I think the number of active forum members here is probably as good an indicator of bitcoin's popularity as the number of addresses and other methods suggested.
I guess there must be a Chinese Bitcointalk equivalent, so add that number in too.  It would be a massive underestimation, but I fear that most other numbers would be overestimations.

There has been some million transactions on the blockchain in all of history, we know that many people do hundreds or even thousands of transactions and some websites will do hundreds of transactions per day, so it seems fairly impossible that there is even 2 million users. Maybe a little less.

If what you are saying about total number of transaction being only a few million than the number of people using bit coin can't really be even a million. It's amazing how much publicity it has received though.

I can tell you there are allot of bitcoin users the amount number i dont know that but i can tell you it are milljons. And that is true because you can see how many bitcoins there are allready. So if you can calculate you will know how many users.

Its very hard to assume about how many people using BTC. For that you need to check with various people who are accepting BTC as a payment like online shopping or check with wallet companies who are maintaining BTC account and transaction.

Add up declared number of wallet downloads/holders on Circle, Coinbase and Blockchain and divide by 2. That , in my view, gives you a fairly fair picture ~ 7mn currently

I don't think so there is a proper way to detemine the number of people who are using bitcoin but i would say there is small percentage of all population that uses bitcoin.

All i can say it is no matter, how many people are involved when is pretty clear now that bitcoin rising and becoming more popular every day. So it is not yet too late to join and it is plenty of ways to earn money with it.. One day of would be called second adopters..

There is no clear data about user base of bitcoin. I read that according to report of experts from Juniper Research that estimated user base was around 1.3 million in 2014.

This report was published last year (2015) and I haven't hear about their recent, updated version of the data. They predicted that active Bitcoin users worldwide will reach 4.7 million by the end of 2019.

nobody knows how many people know the bitcoin.
for me. maybe more than 3 million people using bitcoin. based on my knowledge. 😂
