There may be millions or more i think billions of people using bitcoin right now across the world but i am not sure and no body will be quiet sure about this,it is really hard to predict and neither google knows the correct answer.
I doubt there are billions of bitcoin users around the world. Well, there's really no way to know them but I can give a rough estimate of 5-20 million people who have been or had interaction/used bitcoins from the day it was created. As for the active users, there would most likely be around 150,000 people who uses bitcoin on a daily basis. I think we've got around 15 million Bitcoiners right now. People are joining daily and the number is slowly increasing, meaning the price will go up too. |

Is there a way to determine the number of people who are actually using Bitcoin till date? Who would have access to such information? Meaning a way to find out, how many new people have used Bitcoin in 2016 , so that we can say exponential growth is natural not artificially created by hoarders.
I think in my assessment there is no way that we can the actual number of bitcoin user. Because as far as I can see the some of the member in bitcoin community they used multiple account though the people behind it is only one. And that is because of bitcoin's own feature, which is anonymity and because of that feature a lot of people like bitcoin as they sometimes need to send money to those countries for selling their services where because of their states conflicts they cannot send money through banks or other payments system. By the way we do not need to count the number of bitcoin users but in the future we maybe able to find that number |

I think that one can actually be sure about how many bitcoin users there are in the world. But a statistical research could help give an insight into an approximate value.

I just share number people who online on local market every days are about 300-500 users, although there is not guarantee they have bitcoin and using it. But if they don't using bitcoin, what for they was online every days on the market? And mostly of them use bitcoin just for trading altcoins and trading to fiat.

That is a statistic that I do not believe can be calculated with the way that bitcoin operates. As i read in this thread I can only come up with the conclusion that the actual number of people using bitcoin is only increasing due to the rise in price.

If all are mandated to join this community before transacting in bitcoin then it could be counted. But that is not how it is. There are a lot out there using it, some are in the shadows and some are in the open. It will be a hard task to count them all. |

If all are mandated to join this community before transacting in bitcoin then it could be counted. But that is not how it is. There are a lot out there using it, some are in the shadows and some are in the open. It will be a hard task to count them all. IMO you can't have the actual number of BTCBTCBTC users in any way. Heck even the number of addresses won't give you an estimate. The best way I believe to get a glimpse of how huge this industry is is to look at the volume of daily transactions. |

there have no way to determine number of people using bitcoin because many people use cold storage there are not listed in blockchain.you can only find the number of people who are listed on blockchain.you can see growth of bitcoin but not see growth of people using bitcoin.thanks |

If to some degree bitcoins have that anonymous feature to it then it should be difficult to get the number of users using it but an estimate from this forum can tell us the actual numbers.

We can just get a very rough estimate of the bitcoin users. I think we have about 200 active users by the number of transactions. |

Dude you're pretty good when predicting you didn't think it you answer it right , I think that many people are using bitcoin and some populated country are now start bitcoin as they currency and bitcoin are now accepted in some supermarkets or online shop that can be use to pay online or to buy random staff that we can use.  |

Well, as many here I also don't know, and I think there is no system created yet to give you that number, because as I've observed, the blockchain can determine just the number of wallets, but a single person can have many different wallets.

We can't conduct a census just to know the answer to this question and even if we did conduct a census, it will still not be accurate. There are people who lives in an unregistered house, some people live in a sketchy place, some people live away from the city and some people are away from civilization. And those people might be using Bitcoin as well.

you are definitely right about it, i doubt that we will be actually able to count how much people are using bitcoins because every person has different amount of bitcoins |

Take blockchain.info, coinbase, and circle wallet download numbers and divide by a number that reflects your degree of discounting. Mine is 3. That makes about 5 to 6mn users.

Yes sir I agree with you millions of people used bitcoin And everyday more new people trust in bitcoin Yeah dude for me it's billions of people who are using bitcoin at the moment because if you are going to see the blockchain it almost thousand or more of transaction are made every or million in a day and everyday there's a new investors who are using bitcoin as a currency to grow their money and i love bitcoin. |
