actual number of people using Bitcoin?

Is there a way to determine the number of people who are actually using Bitcoin till date? Who would have access to such information? Meaning a way to find out, how many new people have used Bitcoin in 2016 , so that we can say exponential growth is natural not artificially created by hoarders.

I am afraid that there is no good way to do that, i think you can count amount of wallets... But i am not sure about that either, as probably wallet owners will not want to give this info

Even you are counting that wallet you can not still count the numbers of users because many people are using many wallets.. and multiple wallet.
For now we can just estimate how much percentage of users are using bitcoin..

Even you are counting that wallet you can not still count the numbers of users because many people are using many wallets.. and multiple wallet.
For now we can just estimate how much percentage of users are using bitcoin..

You can't count the number of users of the Wallet is in use, because many of the bitcoin wallet that has the same owner. so we can only estimate it made on the exchange account bitcoin. Because there are already certain they only have 1 account in any trading done

That is my guess also that there are already millions of users of bitcoin in the whole world. Just think about of how many people are dealing daily with deep web they are not just the same person. They are lot of it there, so maybe hundred thousand of people are there and also here in forum there are a lot of it also.

we will most likely never know, but you can see that the numbers of users are growing since the transaction volume is increasing, and blocks are nearly always full. that's a good indication of how the actual usage is growing.

I think we are still fewer users of bitcoin . i think in my speculation around 5% to 15% of users in bitcoin.

you know the total population of the world? more than 2 billion. if you think bitcoin users can reach 25% of course it will be more than 500 million users bitcoin in the world and you know if one-quarter of the world's population is bitcoin users. I think we will have no trouble anymore to use bitcoin as a payment method. because I'm sure with a total of more than 500 million users. there will be a lot of merchants who accept bitcoin ? but you can see now

The world population is more than 7 billion, not sure how you come up with 2 billion. If we at some point manage to reach 1% of the world population, which is +70 million, then we have done an amazing job.

I have no idea where you learned that but I pretty sure that the world’s population is over 7 billions now and keep growing fast, but the point is bitcoin is still young so if the number of bitcoin users is about 25% now then the shops, supermarkets that accept bitcoin must have been located all over the world and I think it will take years for people to start using it. Yes. It can not be predicted. It might be as said above or less than this. I suppose it would be bit less than this. But I wish this should reach out to everyone and everyone should start using the bitcoins. The government should accept it and allow the people to use the bitcoins everywhere. The bitcoin would become much popular and the value of this would surely increase more than what wil be expected. The economy market will see a great spike in profit as well.

I think there is no way to determine this. there is nothing that can determine the actual growth accurately but i bet you there is increasing growth of people because of rising price.

All we can is the record of the different in wallet addresses of the member who invested bitcoin in different exchanges platform.

I think in my assessment there is no way that we can the actual number of bitcoin user. Because as far as I can see the some of the member  in bitcoin community they used multiple account though the people behind it is only one.

I doubt there are billions of bitcoin users around the world. Well, there's really no way to know them but I can give a rough estimate of 5-20 million people who have been or had interaction/used bitcoins from the day it was created. As for the active users, there would most likely be around 150,000 people who uses bitcoin on a daily basis.
