I think no one knows about the actual number of bitcoin users and especially in this time when it is the starting ages of bitcoin adoption, it is very hard to find out that how many people are on bitcoin and how many have joined in this year or month.
Yeah, I'd be surprised if anyone could get a good approximation and would like to know the parameters used as reference. agreed also that no one would know how many active users of bitcoin cause bitcoin is international currency which is anyone is able to use, and time to time there are new users entering in bitcoin and every day the percentage of users is continuous increasing. I agree with you and due to the new innovation of the altcoins which most of them integrated bitcoin in their system which makes bitcoin more popular. They are making a good effort in promoting bitcoin as well so we are where we are now, bitcoin is very progressive and will continue to progress.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if anyone could get a good approximation and would like to know the parameters used as reference. It is not just hard but it is simply not possible to know if how many users are using bitcoin worldwide or how many users are joining daily weekly or monthly, because there is no one platform where all the bitcoin users are counted so that someone could know how many they are.

You could potentially go online and get places to do surveys as to whether or not they use Bitcoin, or you could look at the shops or businesses around where you are and if they accept Bitcoin ask them how often they get business in Bitcoin. That might give you a small to mediocre percentage idea o how many people use Bitcoin in your area, without it having to be obvious.

The bitcoin can do on average 3 transaction per second (not 7), so for 24 hours, that is 250,000 per day. If one user does one day, that is 250,000 active users.

I have frankly no idea about actual number of bitcoin users. There are two kinds of people, one who are active and others are passive so it’s really difficult to determine actual figure of user base. We can have a look on on total number of wallets at popular online wallet providers and calculate offline cold storage wallet users (well that’s difficult too).
While talking about India, I read that there are nearly 10,000 bitcoins users and that is less than 0.00001% of actual population.

Yeah... I believe that may be the approximate number. And the vast majority (more than 90%) out of this will be the ones with less than BTC1.00 in their wallets. The major issue here is that we have not witnessed a major increase in this figure for the last two to three years. The user stats have remained stagnant for some time now.

I think we are still fewer users of bitcoin . i think in my speculation around 5% to 15% of users in bitcoin. Bitcoin still not so popular but in the future we will see more users will come in bitcoin..
No i dont think so. Your statistics is quite too low i think that would only apply maybe in uk or china?. I believe that we are currently in 15-25% right now. Well i am not saying that i am right

That is really not gonna work, how can you know if one user will do only one transaction per day? Or lets consider 1 user doing 1 transaction per day but how can you know if all the users are active everyday? Because not every user is active everyday, maybe they come online twice a week or once in 3 days or so.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if anyone could get a good approximation and would like to know the parameters used as reference. It is difficult to determine the numbers of bitcoin users because of its anonymous nature and it is decentralized. We can only know the trade volume and transactions and that can give us some idea

Exactly, and even if the users don't increase but the number of wallets are increasing every time because everyone make new wallets for splitting and storing their funds to stay safe from hacks or such things, so that does not let anything count the exact numbers of users in bitcoin community.

Its totally undifined its because we cannot really count how much the exact number of bitcoin users around the world and we cannot based the number of user's on bctalk its because some other bitcoin user's doesn't know that this furom is existing or just ignoring since they dont know how to used the furom, i really see some of them are just sticking on fb crypro related groups and just banging and sharing some ideas here so thats the reason we dont know how much of us uses it around the globe.

It is hard to determine the actual number of people but I think in terms of age range then I can guess around the age of 20s and 30s because they are the ones who are well versed with the new technology and witness the change of economy from industrial age to information age in which the transactions and jobs as well were highly dependent on technology. At the start of bitcoin's creation they were there and since they can understand technology than the older ones who will just stick to the old ways, they adopt bitcoin. They are the ones also who are most likely that can afford to buy bitcoin because they have work or has business and still can do something to make it grow with their own effort because they understand the technology and for the older ones, they will most likely just invest in bitcoin and earn from it by having passive income.
