In my opinion, if the less active users are included, this number could be higher than four hundred thousand.
I think we can not able to give numbers because no one knows can calculate the actual number of users of bitcoin we do not have device as basis to know how many people are actively using bitcoin. Exactly, what we have now is just an estimate of the users, if we do not know the real number of users of bitcoin there is a big possibility that some of the users are whales who will manipulate the price of bitcoin because they are holding a great amount of bitcoins. |

The actual number of bitcoin users cant be known becasue the limit of the bitcoins is not reached yet you know if we reach the bitcoin limit
we will know how many users there are this is not strange why cant you think about this by your self.

Since it's super anonymous and people can have more then one wallet at a time this is quite impossible to check.
Also some people have hardware wallets etc so I don't think you could check this.
But it's quite alot of users and still expanding that's the most I can tell you.

It is right, we can't calculate the users number of bitcoins, but we judge it because of the bitcoin price, I mean its price show us what is going with bitcoin. Also it is true, now majority have awareness about bitcoin, and the number of the bitcoin users increased within last 2 or 3 years, and now it is continuously growing,So we have only one way to predict about it. |

It's hard to predict the total number of bitcoin users as the bitcoin is anonymous virtual currency.
But I think that these days bitcoins is being used everywhere and people using bitcoins are > 100K

It is difficult to get even an approximation of the real value, and I would be surprised if anyone managed to get a good number for it , without very high error margins, of course..

Its not possible to predict the number of bitcoin users exactly, but in terms of percentage 5-10% of people might be aware of bitcoin and 2-5% might be using it. This is expected to increase gradually over the falling years.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Yeah, maybe if someone can manage to count the online wallets and reach to a estimate somehow, but what about those who uses hardware wallets? You cannot count them at all as they are never known, so it is basically not possible. |

By far not. If you look at 2% of the people, then you are talking about 140 million people. And that's definitely not the case. If we at some point in the far future manage to have 1% of the world population to use Bitcoin, then that can be seen as a great mile stone. 1% equals around 70 million people. |

Exactly, but, is there a number of wallets in the blockchain? we can maybe get some average out of it, it would still show something. |

Is there a way to determine the number of people who are actually using Bitcoin till date? Who would have access to such information? Meaning a way to find out, how many new people have used Bitcoin in 2016 , so that we can say exponential growth is natural not artificially created by hoarders.
Be 5% of people worldwide are using and know bitcoin . Since news spread very fast across the world so while taking greater and greater and use it and most of those who invest with them online . Maybe in a few years bitcoin is further identify these people and many more can they use it and do earn bitcoin. |
