I think we are still fewer users of bitcoin . i think in my speculation around 5% to 15% of users in bitcoin.
Bitcoin still not so popular but in the future we will see more users will come in bitcoin..

No i dont think so.  Your statistics is quite too low  i think that would only apply maybe in uk or china?. I believe that we are currently in 15-25% right now.  Well i am not saying that i am right
you know the total population of the world? more than 2 billion. if you think bitcoin users can reach 25% of course it will be more than 500 million users bitcoin in the world and you know if one-quarter of the world's population is bitcoin users. I think we will have no trouble anymore to use bitcoin as a payment method. because I'm sure with a total of more than 500 million users. there will be a lot of merchants who accept bitcoin ? but you can see now

Well there is no proper data for that want tho i only stated my observation. 500 million is really possible in this industry the problem their is that it is merely most of in the first world or second world country. When it comes to merchants your are talking sir most of the users are only mining bitcoin and not a business type of person so merchants that accepts bitcoin are really few to consider.

I have no precise estimation about it, but the number of bitcoin users must be in millions, given the fact there are people in the whole world using it.
Yes sir I agree with you millions of people used bitcoin
And everyday more new people trust in bitcoin
Yeah dude for me it's billions of people who are using bitcoin at the moment because if you are going to see the blockchain it almost thousand or more of transaction are made every or million in a day and everyday there's a new investors who are using bitcoin as a currency to grow their money and i love bitcoin.

Do you people do any research at all? Look at this: https://blockchain.info/charts/n-transactions

There's between 180,000 and 240,000 transactions a day. Those transactions include the 10s of thousands of payments to miners from the pools and all of the forex traders moving coins around. There's probably not 50,000 real purchase transactions happening every day.

I think there'll be no way to find the accurate number of people who are using Bitcoin. We can't conduct a census just to know the answer to this question and even if we did conduct a census, it will still not be accurate. There are people who lives in an unregistered house, some people live in a sketchy place, some people live away from the city and some people are away from civilization. And those people might be using Bitcoin as well.
thats true, i think that there might be a lot of people using bitcoins right now and we will never know whether there are a lot of users or not

And, not every bitcoin user use just one wallet, rather mostly bitcoin users use more than one wallets so even if we go for counting the wallet addresses we cannot get any estimate with that because not only one wallet will be associated with one user but a lot of them would be.

Definitely!  I could attest to that as almost al of my friends who were into bitcoins do have multiple account of bitcoin wallet.  They uses it to gamble and transfer to their legit market.  Sometimes they even buy many gmail account to open up another wallet.  Through this it is really hard to count the number of people who are into bitcoins.

In the world surely countless users are using bitcoin, like those who make investments, and also the people who enjoy using it because of the easy way that transactions can be done.

correct no one can calculate the actual users of bitcoin because some of the users had multiple bitcoin wallet that they actively using it, and also users can make multiple transactions every day.

Take blockchain.info, coinbase, and circle wallet download numbers and divide by a number that reflects your degree of discounting. Mine is 3. That makes about 5 to 6mn users.
how the crap should it reflect the actual number of bitcoin users? i dont think that it will be possible to ever calculate that

Of course it is impossible to know the exact number, but the numbers given by blockchain and coinbase is enough to have at least an estimate of the total number of users of bitcoins but not the actual one, the estimate can be use to analyze on how to manage our investment.

With informations like market cap and the number of wallets you can calculate something, but still this will not be enough to find out how many people are using bitcoins, maybe the developers will have tools in which they can tell us how to find at least an aproximated number of people using BTCs.

many are silently using bitcoin. there are no definite figures. but look at the current state, I think has a lot of bitcoin users who are scattered in various countries of the world. although sometimes the community is still small but they are there to represent us all in every region.

That would be hard to estimate since there is no addresses/people ratio or range, And even the number of transactions is not conclusive, But overall by my own personal estimation I guess there are around 1 million or so bitcoin users worldwide "probably more IMO".

I think Bitcoin wallets are not considered a good estimate, since there are many individuals who keep two or more wallets, so this cannot give a really precise information about it.

you are definitely right about it, i doubt that we will be actually able to count how much people are using bitcoins because every person has different amount of bitcoins
yes it is a fact that it is difficult to count the actual number of bitcoin user, the reason is that one side as bitcoin is ananimous and we have no access to the system from where we can count the actual number of bitcoin users.

yeah I think users will probably be around that amount? because if the user is more than 20 million people in the world? I believe bitcoin least've talked a lot in the world? or at least well-known shopping sites adopted a system of bitcoin. because to see so many bitcoin users in the world?

I think those exchanges will have all the info about that how many people are theer on their forum which collect all the exact info with documents, if all of them do a meeting and calculate al the data then they will know that how much people are there on bitcoin.

Counting wallet addresses is indeed a worthless way to see how many people actually use Bitcoin. Exchanges hold probably hundreds of thousands of addresses. Same goes up for high volume gambling sites. We simply must admit and accept that we will never know how many people are actively using Bitcoin.

Agree with you mate, even our system can not calculate the actual number of bitcoin users. And i think we do not need to know that numbers because that is good for all users to make bitcoin stronger and to have long life.

I don't think there is an accurate way of counting as to how many people use Bitcoin other than a compulsory survey. For example, you could get a small feel for the number of Bitcoin users if you ask the moderators to make a compulsory survey of all Bitcoin users in this forum.

i think there is no way to find out how many people are using bitcoin unless you are willing to take a global survey and ask each and every person in the world if they use or know bitcoin
