Is there a way to determine the number of people who are actually using Bitcoin till date? Who would have access to such information? Meaning a way to find out, how many new people have used Bitcoin in 2016 , so that we can say exponential growth is natural not artificially created by hoarders.
There is no way to know any of those answers op, the nature of bitcoin makes it impossible to know with certainty, we can speculate and at best get close to the real numbers but that is it. |

I think the number is higher than just 100 a day.. Maybe at around 500 per day is more correct. We are growing faster with every new user, because they will talk to others about it and their friends will talk to their friends too and so on, making the community grow faster than we think. |

The easiest thing to calculate the actual user data is of the bitcoin wallet. I'm very sure that all transactions are recorded in the wallets.

I think no more than 1 million users. It is based on information released by news websites in china. From 1 million active users bitcoin, over 70% are from china, so that China can control the price bitcoin.
I honestly doubt with that data. you know bitcoin already more than 7 years of launching and bitcoin itself has spread around the world. I'm sure the number of users more than 1 million dude I think bitcoin user less than 1 million if true bitcoin users has reached 1 million, the price of bitcoin already touched $ 2,000 due only 2,5 million bitcoin can we mine. I think 1 million users, including small amounts. if you want to look at the price of $ 2,000. bitcoin user must have an equivalent amount of gold. I think the number of users bitcoin is now more than 1 million users #imo |

But we can see the growth daily of the new users, in every hours or a minutes in the entire world. Exactly it is not possible to calculate because many people will use multiple address for bitcoin transaction, so it is not possible to calculate according to block chain. At the same time many people investing different sectors of investment like rev share, doubling, chain system, so it is hard to find how many people are actually using bitcoin. |

That is true for sure but does it help at all? We can get the number of bitcoin wallets ever used and then divide that to the average number of bitcoin wallet bitcoin users has. That's an easy way to go but we don't even know the average number of bitcoin wallet an individual bitcoin user has. It's another problem to solve. And even if we have the average number of bitcoin wallet per individual, someone can make the record false in just a couple of hours by making tons of wallet that all belongs to him. The amount of bitcoin wallets just don't help at all since you can create infinite number of them. |

Even we can't predict any numbers because bitcoin is global currency, even many under developed countries are also using bitcoin for their countries growth. But it cannot be traceable who is buying and who is selling. Daily millions and millions are transaction are being happened, so it is impossible to find actual number. |

I don't think who can measure all of the people using bitcoins as everyday there and there is a new bitcoiners .Some said it is near on the total counts of accounts in blockchain .But it is not so sure because not all users use blockchain and some of the blockchain wallets are not active .One person can create multiple blockchain wallets. Instead of counting the people who use bitcoins it is much better to share our ideas to other people about bitcoins that have make more sense .  |

Theres no accurate answer for this one since we dont know how many people do use bitcoin all transaction and wallet address doesnt belong in each person since there are people do have many wallet addresses which means its really hard to determine.
