I will accept bitcoin as my salary "if" it is already stable price, government accepts that is legal currency, banks already accepted bitcoin to deposit and i can spend it in my country in a daily basis.

i really agree with you, if the price of bitcoin have a stable price, i will accept my salary with bitcoin. Bitcoin price is always changing, so i will discuss it to my family first.

To be honest, the more and more I think about it I end up liking the idea. Even though I understand the downsides it would imply getting salary in BTC it would be an interesting experience and if I had the opportunity for that to happen I believe I would very much like that.  Smiley

youdidnt complete the story why did they laugh? any way, i keep saying i disagree on salary using bitcoin because of the non stable price of it. i would love to use bitcoin as a salary when we have stable price.

if it will , then every persons who received payment in btc have chance to trade . and also to hold for increase price but here one problem may be arise , what will happen if you get salary and the next day price fall down , so there is also a chance of loss .

I definitely would! Earning bitcoin as salary would be a great step ahead because, with the continuous fluctuations of bitcoin, both sides will get more money overall.

If you don't use your earning in bitcoin in real life then it's just fine if you want it that way and keep your bitcoins.. But if you are using your salary to buy your foods and pay your debts and bills, that would be an inconvenient..

Not mentioning if you have someone who depends on you like your children or your wife.
Unless you are alone, you are prepared to face every risk your life takes.

No, if you have a family you would prefer not to risk your income, when you have a job so you would prefer to receive it in fiat rather than in BTC because you do not want to lose the value of your money when the economy is not good, you cannot gamble with your family needs.

True, its not really good to compromise  your family needs  just to feed your intentions  and  aims   when you decide to accept bitcoin as your salary. Most people would definitely choose fiat instead of bitcoin since your salary would depend on the current price of bitcoin. If bitcoins price is high  then you are lucky if not then its a disaster.

I do not want to receive a salary with bitcoin. I was a worker in the real world. and I want to get the same nominal monthly. if using bitcoin I worried my income is reduced because the value of bitcoin prices are always changing.

And what if price drops in future? If bitcoin disappears then its  not a problem as you can switch again to fiat for getting salary, but if price goes back to $200 or $300 it will make your life miserable.

I would like to accept it, although where I live there is not a single shop accepting btc. I know this may change in the near future.

Then it would not make sense to accept it for your salary right? How will you pay your bills if there are no companies who accept it.
At least that is the reason for me not to get paid in bitcoin. Being able to pay my rent, phone bill etc. would change this situation offcourse.

Nope, i think that better to keep my salary in fiat, till bitcoin is not accepted in my country, but anyway it's good for people who like long term savings.

I think the main problem is the stability issue and the number of providers who accept it. I prefer to calculate with a stable salary and I'd have additional costs of BTC to fiat exchange while I can't pay my electricity bill with BTC Cheesy

I do make my calculations of where my payment will go, something even get paid in bitcoin and going exchange it i will loose initial something like 25-50 dollars from the fee people charge, soo makes no sense now think about such feature. As my salary is being spend to all my expenses, this option would just make me loose money from the exchange.

That is what I'm thinking too instead of you can use the fees for other important things if you are going to accept it through fiat or directly to your bank. But what is going to happen is that you are going to be obliged for paying the charges that you can get by converting your bitcoin salary into fiat money.
That is correct, if we accepts bitcoin as our salary we are not exempt in every charges in bank or in any exchanging method do you do, that is why i do not accept bitcoin as my salary because i do not what to have additional deduction for converting into fiat much better to received my salary in fiat.

Exactly and we also don't know that will be the price of bitcoin in future, if it goes higher then its well and good but if it goes lower then it will surely make our life difficult.
