I wouldn't accept Bitcoin as salary from main job. From side job or online job, it is okay to accept it.

Its not a smart decision to make to get paid in bitcoin in the form of salary, as if price falls tomorrow then it will affect my income very badly and I need to keep on waiting to sell them till price goes higher.
yes i also agree with you i think it is not such a easy decision to take specially in our area where the users of bitcoins are not so much, and where we have very little o opportunities to use bitcoin in our local shops therefore i never like to receive my salary in bitcoin, |

I wouldn't accept Bitcoin as salary from main job. From side job or online job, it is okay to accept it.
yes pretty much right bitcoin can be accepted as a side income or as a partime income and i also actually earn bitcoins as a side income but my main income is from fiat so there is more value of my bitcoin as side income.Depending on bitcoin only for the full time income is not good. |

But what if the price drops bitcoin? You would have difficulty ..  This post is an example on why you don't want bitcoin as your salary, first off it flactuates frequently, you do not want your salary to be undervalued when you really need money. What about people suddenly stop accepting btc for cash than your bitcoin will be worthless and you have nothing left to feed your family. Also having bitcoin as your salary seems to be not safe as a lot of scams and gambling can be a temptation for you. |

In Europe there is a hot new pertaining to a company whose going to introduce paying bitcoins to their employees. But given the instability of the bitcoins market value is it an advantage for the employees or an disadvantage. In my opinion this kind of payment for salary is not yet beneficial to employees not until bitcoins price has become stabled. Though if bitcoin will start to increase its monetary value it can be advantageuos but if not then it is a peril to the employees. So what do you think, what is your opinion on this matter?
Paying bitcoins as salary is ok. Due to instability of bitcoin market now, maybe they want to have an agreement that they wil have a bitcoin salary in fiat equivalent. Example is $1000 salary/month in bitcoin value. If the bitcoins value falls down it is advantage to workers but if the value of bitcoins goes up, it is the advantage of the company. But if the salary is fixed in bitcoin, I don't think its favorable to workers. Just an opinion. |

I'll be happy to receive my salary in Bitcoins but if I will be allowed to make a choice I would request it to be in half since I receive my salary on 15th and 30th, It would be great if every 15th its in Bitcoins and every 30th it's in Fiat, that way I don't need to convert to Fiat if needed.
If you don't want to convert your money on Fiat, why will you accept bitcoin as your salary on the 15th? It is non-semse for a company to pay you 2 kinds of money on the same month it would be hard on the financing department of the xompany and it will complicate things, also it is better for me accepting shares of stocks from the company as it can make me work harder for it to grow. Accepting bitcoin is good when your work are really related to bitcoin and you don't need to convert that bitcoin into fiat because you will need it soon as investment and if you are going to receive bitcoin or half payment every 15th day then you should keep it there are chance that bitcoin will increase by chance yes that is good accepting shares of stocks from company are good source of income and you will be promoted by your hard working. |

That's right if you cannot use bitcoin directly then its better to keep on getting salary in fiat and price fluctuation will also create a problem as it will never give you a stable income. |

That's right if you cannot use bitcoin directly then its better to keep on getting salary in fiat and price fluctuation will also create a problem as it will never give you a stable income. That is the point. We do spendings the moment we received our coins so there's no different thing if we got our salary in bitcoin. Also the rates is just the same. Our fiat currency rates will just be converted to bitcoin. It's just transferred to a digital one lol. |

I think it's not about the value, because you will keep to receive a salary in accordance with the amount of dollars, although the price of the bitcoin 4 digit or 3 digit. the most risk to receive a salary of with bitcoin is the price fluctuates, also I think when you receiving a salary with bitcoin later convert it to fiat, certainly there is a fairly high cost of around 1%. so still be a consideration if I received a salary of with bitcoin. unless my boss will bear the cost of it. |

Your salary is fixed and will just be converted to bitcoin even bitcoin price will reached $1,000,000,000 in price. The only lucky thing you can expect is, you received your salary at the currenct price of $500. You didn't spend it first then after a day bitcoin price rose to $1000 although it's unusual to happen. |

I agree, bitcoin can be huge so accepting it now as salary can give us an option to have an investment while we are working. This is indeed a great opportunity because it is very rare to have a job and investment at the same time. Mostly people will have a job first then invest later years of their life. You should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose by combining your investment and salary in one you are asking for trouble because if bitcoin tanked (unlikely but a possibility) you will be left without a salary, savings and investment. |

For me personally, wages in bitcoin is not very suitable, because I still need to change the coins into another currency to the life. Therefore, even if the salary will be in the currency in which there is today.
