Bitcoin as a salary is possible for some but not for me. To have my salary paid in bitcoin I find it important I can use it and at this moment there lack of options to use it makes it not very handy for me to get paid in bitcoin because I am not able to spent those coins.
yes and i like to receive my salary in bitcoin but i know that my department will never agree to give me my salary in bitcoin because i am a government servant and i receive my salary from government and my government is not ready to give me my salary in bitcoin.

If I could use bitcoin to pay for everyday life, I would take my pay in bitcoin.  I hate being a small person in this bitcoin world because there is so little I can do to make a difference.  I work for a small company, so when this is a reality, I will be more willing to ask for my pay in bitcoin.

you are a sensible person, we should have to think like that. When there will be markets with bitcoin payment then why will we insist to get our salaries in our local currency. We will also like to get bitcoin in order to avoid exchange for to put them in bitcoin as in the future every market will love bitcoin and people will need to put their money in bitcoin.

And what about the volatility? Have you forgotten that aspect of Bitcoin? If you have recurring bills, then you definitely don't want your entire salary to be paid in Bitcoin. I seriously don't believe that.

The use of btc may change  things a lot in near future, but there  is still a high risk on accepting  bitcoins as your salary, given the  fact that the price is unstable, may  inflate or fluctuate, affecting  your total salary.

if it's just a small amount, then it's not really a problem as you can keep holding it. remember, you don't lose anything unless you sell. may i know what percentage you received in bitcoin of your salary?

Not with the unstable thing but if you are using mostly your salary then accepting bitcoin will just change the form of how you receive your salary.

After all, you will just convert it immediately since you need to spend on something.

I would take BTC s a salary even now, it's so easy to exchange it to USD and local currencies that you wouldn't lose more than 2-3% or so if you want to exchange it Smiley . it would save me the effort of depositing money into exchanges to buy BTC.

Perhaps it is not a good  idea to take the measure now. The volatility  can bring great instability on  your earnings, not only positively  but also negatively.

Don’t worry about your position in the bitcoin community, even if you don’t hold many coins you are way better than the majority of the population because you have knowledge about the power of bitcoin, the only thing that you need to do now is to take actions so you are able to profit from that knowledge.

Right now, I would  say no. If you ask me why, as you  can see the price is going up and down  and not just by small amounts. Let's say you're  paid one hundred dollars in  bitcoin and then something happens that reduces the  price of the bitcoin and you end  up with a lot more that a hundred bucks, but the  main thing, for me, would be the  price jumping and falling.

I agree. Income/salary is very important as it is used to finance your stable lifestyle. So it is important to have the salary in order to survive. If your salary drop to 10% and your cant survive to pay the rent and your living habits, how are you able to bear through this period to enjoy the bull period of the bitcoin.

I could, but not fully.  The cryptocurrency  needs some price stability first, this could attract  the interest of more people  and companies to adopt the measure...

True, but its not possible  to stabilize bitcoins price since its design on that way and  if bitcoin would have stable price i think  many traders would  switch to another coins because  price volatility of bitcoin  is one of the most important for them to make money. If it stabilize then they wont like that scenario. Accepting bitcoin as our salary would be still risky  nowadays.

If my company pay bitcoin for my job salary then I will go for it. Because bitcoin will have wallet that is you can monitor it everytime you want because it is in the internet. There is a website for this and also an application. And you put also in your bank accounts if you want withdraw it or in remittances.

Yes even companies will never ignore the fact of price volatility as they will be making huge investment in buying them so that they can pay their employees and if price falls then it will be huge loss for them too.

I will accept bitcoin partially as my salary cause it makes it easier for me. Right now I already convert part of my salary to bitcoin so why not have that automated right.
Better to do part then full because days like these it's dropping quite hard and we have to be careful where we put our money.
It is makes more easier for you because you are using bitcoin how those people who not using bitcoin ? then they forcing them selves to create a bitcoin wallet where they gonna accept their salary of bitcoin soon? better if not and accept real paper money.

People will prefer to accept salary in bitcoins only if they are aware about the concept of bitcoins and if not then they will never risk their income by getting paid into bitcoins.
I think btc as a salary will  be too risky, most employees could not  accept it. The price is still too volatile,  and if it crashes people will  lose money. I don't think they'll take that risk now,  but this may happen in the future.
