Well, with the current fluctuated condition, and sometimes also considerable downtrend, I don't think it is a very good idea. But I believe this will find its place in near future.
Could be. If that future will stabilize the price. That is the most important thing when working for money right? A stable income. Is bitcoin stable? No, it moves more than US dollar. If $ can make a wave in its price then bitcoin can create a larger one. Its number is limited so it can be manipulatred by a person who is owning a lot of it. In the first place why we used bitcoin as form of salary? specially if the price will be stable? if we are receiving our salary in terms of fiat and we are satisfied with it. If you want to received your salary in terms of bitcoin your salary would not received in full like receiving in fiat. |

if the value is reasonable i will accept it.
the problem is usually the rate of paying and ''real rate'' of bitcoin price in exchangeris diffirent with highest prencetage.
the same for me, also the price of the bitcoin should be way stable than it is right now, in my opinion only then people would be into bitcoins If price is in 4 digits and if it is stable then it would be great to accept salary in bitcoins, but as of now I will not prefer to accept salary in bitcoins as price is not too high and it will not give me steady income too. Even if the price of bitcoin is in 4 digits, if you get paid in the same amount equivalent as you are getting in fiat, then there is no advantage. At least now, that the price is still in 3 digits, if you get paid in bitcoin, you can store it and you can wait for the price to go up. Just consider it as an investment. Then, I can say that you have an advantage there. You are getting more, in the future, not instantly though. |

I think that I could accept at least part of it in BTC. We certainly need to start doing this, in order to encourage more people to use Bitcoin.

yes i will accept my salary in bitcoin because bitcoin is very useful in everywhere corner of the wold and we can buy any product through bitcoin with easily and with fastest transaction .
Are you sure? I haven't experienced that.. When I have to purchase something I need to convert my bitcoin to cash and only few items are priced with bitcoin and mostly are digital goods... You are lucky if you could maximize the use of your bitcoin...  I don't what he is saying is true, as everyone is complaining that they cannot use bitcoins directly and I don't think that there are many countries where bitcoin is accepted so easily. WOW you are actually getting paid into bitcoins your salary ? Please can you show us and tell us where you work and how much you get paid  ? I am very excited because all of this thread has yes I WILL accept or NO I WILL NOT but none actually has been seen accepting his salary in bitcoins. So very curious friend, please if you get time tell us more. |

I believe in bitcoin but until it gets to be stable. It just isn not useful to get paid in it. I would probably take some of my paycheck in bitcoin just like some of my current paycheck goes into my retirement plan but definitely not all of it.

That is the basic logic behind not accepting salary in bitcoins as we will never get stable and fixed income if we accept salary in bitcoins, I will never prefer to get paid in bitcoin. |

Of course. Bitcoin is the future money so why not?. Actually you have the advantage if you save more bitcoin cause it's currency might get high in the right time and you can earn a lot of money. Just mu opinion using it right now is a practically not right. It's not worth it if we're gonna use bitcoin here on net to buy some stuffs that we need. Well, it's just my own opinion.

This is a difficult thing seemed to materialize for the time being. Correct, stable price would be the first thing to consider when we decide to accept bitcoin as our salary because our money would depend on the bitcoins price what if the price would go down/ it would surely affect your salary too which is really bad for us since we need money to buy our daily needs. |

I suppose at that time, if bitcoin CAN be used as a salary then it would probably be a main currency in the world, and probably at that time you wouldn't need to exchange BTC to get money, Or you can even now "since you would just need to exchange some for usd for living needs".

the same for me, getting the whole salary in bitcoins is really risky in my opinion and i dont think that it actually should be done as i would lose big money Exactly as your monthly will depend on the price of bitcoin, one month you will be holding higher income and in next month may be it will be below average which can affect your financial planning. |
