why not?
if I get my wages + % to cover transfer fees + exchange fees and it is paid in bitcoins at the current going price
I would be quite happy to spend some 20 minutes to exchange bitcoins to fiat money and have additional profit (remember the employer pays me extra to compensate me for the hassle)
but the times when bitcoin is used to pay wages are very far away,if ever realistic
it would require a completely different kind of tax documentation, changes in legislation, change of mentality after all
although some smaller companies could introduce btc as their currency to pay salaries,I don't see it becomes mainstream in the near future

In Europe there is a hot new pertaining to a company whose going to introduce paying bitcoins to their employees. But given the instability of the bitcoins market value is it an advantage for the employees or an disadvantage. In my opinion this kind of payment for salary is not yet beneficial to employees not until bitcoins price has become stabled. Though if bitcoin will start to increase its monetary value it can be advantageuos but if not then it is a peril to the employees. So what do you think, what is your opinion on this matter?
We must first think not only about themselves but also about those workers who are unfamiliar m bitcoin. What will they do if they are given a salary of bitcoin.

With the current changes in price,  and sometimes also considerable  downtrend, I do not think that it's a very  good idea. But I think this  will find its place in a near future...

Yes we may think of accepting salary in bitcoins in future but only if price goes higher and if there is certain stability in price, till then its not a good idea to accept salary in bitcoins.

there is no real need to accept bitcoin as your salary from your employer. if you want bitcoin, then just buy it. it's that simple. in case of you working as free lancer and the person or company that hires you want to pay in bitcoin, then it's no problem. but employers that solely pay people in fiat, they won't pay out people in bitcoin.

So what will you do when you  need money for basic expenses and if you see price crashed down? Will you wait for higher price or sell your coins at lower price?

The price instability keeps some people  away, but it is advantageous to traders  and speculators . There would be more adoption  if there was less volatility though..

When everyone was talking about the instability just a few months ago than halving then a large number of people started to adopt bitcoin, people only fear from volatility and it is because of the rumors about volatility of bitcoin. When people will invest their money in bitcoin without any fear into bitcoin and will promote it to others also then the price of bitcoin will start to increase. I think companies should have to start to pay salaries in bitcoin with that the demand and price will increase much higher.

Don't you think that even companies will keep the factor of price volatility in their mind before starting to pay in bitcoins as they will be buying bitcoins in bulk and if price crashed after that then it will be a massive loss for them.

No I would not accept my salary in bitcoins because I think it would be stupid and its also not worth it in my eyes due to the fact that the bitcoin is still going up and down.
I prefer waiting right now maybe in the future it can be done...

Yes not the right time to accept salary in bitcoins as price is not stable at a moment and I don't think it will be ever stable in future so its not a smart move to make to accept salary in bitcoins.

Thats not true.Volatility in price is what makes bitcoin adoption faster. If prices were fixed at high rates.new people would not be able to afford bitcoin and only richest can have access to it.On the other hand if price is fixed at low, nobody will buy bitcoin and bitcoin will die

I already get my salary in Bitcoin with no problem what so ever. As for the price ups and downs it doesn't really affect me in a bad way instead I bank more profit Wink
Those who still get paid in fiat are the ones getting robbed every single minute as more paper enters the market.
Soo you are some kind of developer or your own boss with your business, atleast its easy to be that way then a company hire you and pay you with bitcoins, kindly let us know more about your work.

At this time, no I wouldn't. Btc is so  volatile right now, the risks outweigh  the positives. Yes, I could make thirty percent  profit in fiat in a day , but I could also lose  the same..

Exactly the same uncertainity that would refrain one's employer from even considering.

No I will not accept my salary into bitcoins because its not pretty nice to have it right now into the bitcoin.
I still have to pay all my things with the normal currency's so its not really worth doing it right now.

There are credit card providers already, so you can deposit your BTC and pay as usual with CC. No problem there.
