CONNECTION PROBLEMS
Hi guys, from 2 hours, there are some global connection problems.
Some of you could get false telegram alerts (10% of rigs are affected ).
Looks like our hosting provider has some problem with internet.


EDIT:
The problem was on cloudflare side. Most probably the dns issue.
It last 30 minutes and then 1,5 hour.
10% rigs were affected and you could receive false alerts via telegram.

CONNECTION PROBLEMS

On the dash board, about 70% of my rigs are offline -- however hash at poolside seems business as usual.

Did anyone notice that Power settings for MSI nVidia 1080Ti cards is not working properly?
Gaming X and Armor cards should be set up 10-20W more to get the wanted power level.
For example, 1080ti set to 210W to get 180W power level on card.

Gaming X 1070ti are working properly.


But today I've found that 1070 (non TI) drawing 115W power for every setting lower than 115W

Here is for the 80W-115W power level:

ETH:
[INFO] [2018-07-01T10:03:54 02:00] [GPU 0] Speed: 30.28 MH/s Temp: 64C Fan: 30% Power: 115W 0.27 MH/J

Equihash:

For higher power it takes what you set, for lower, can't go below 114W-115W Smiley

Looks like it opens a telnet session on your miner.  You can use:  screen -x miner   to keep a running console display of your miner.   You can exit that with   Ctl-a and while still holding, press   d   too.

today some off my rigs are 0 MHS

i looked in the log and

ETH: Stratum - Connected (eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999) (unsecure)
Socket was closed remotely (by pool)
ETH: Job timeout, disconnect, retry in 20 sec...

im not mining to NANOPOOL, i tried to change address on config to ethermine or ethermine using SSL, and this persist

i changed to Cryptonight miner,

Gents,

Did someone experienced issue with fan on 1080 ti.
Looks like after latest update, 2 cards during starting SMOS stops the fan, and never spin on it again.
Fan control in overclocking doesn't make any difference, and not making any changes to fan speed for any cards in rig.

On windows 10 everything is working fine.

with rx570 8gb nitro + modified microm memory,
xmrig-amd-v2.6.1 does not exceed 680 h / s per card, cryptonight-heavy protocol.

config used

-a cryptonight-heavy --opencl-platform = 0 --opencl-devices = 0,0,1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5 --opencl-launch = 1000x8,1000x8 , 1000x8,1000x8,1000x8,1000x8,1000x8,1000x8,1000x8,1000x8,1000x8,1000x8 -o stratum + tcp: loki.miner.rocks: 5555 -u wallet. $ RigName -px --donate-level = 1 --print-time = 5
with overclocking core 1100 memory 2100 undervolt 850
as a rule it should do at least 860 h / s

It just mean that your rig cannot connect nanopool for some reason.
So it could be cloudflare, it could be nanopool hositn, it could be your connection.
Anyway, cloudflare had problem yesterday so i guess half of the internet could not work properly.

if you use the same core/mem clocks for all cards, why seperate them?
