Below is the profitability chart after day 4. The average profitability over this period has now dropped below 10% for the first time (green curve). This means that more nodes are forging. According to http://54.221.26.215 a total of 8,33 million heat is currently forging, or about 1/3 of the total amount. Despite the impression one gets when reading the forum, the recent fork has not affected the total forging stake. The opposite has happened since my last posted plot (an increase of about 0,7 million heat, from 7,6 million to 8,33 million).

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Is it already implemented to withdraw BTC from heatwallet.com? Before I sell my Heat I'd like to know that, because I only find a way to deposit Bitcoin.
Yes. Withdrawals will take approx. 24 hours because of the blockchain reorg possibility at the current time.

Instructions for withdrawals are visible when you click on the LOAD BTC button.

heatwallet.com is on a fork. My server is currently on block number 15339 while heatwallet.com is on 14701. If you have your own local server on the main chain, you can check your correct BTC balance like this:
curl -k -s http://localhost:7733/api/v1/account/balance/your_account_number/5592059897546023466
Asset id 5592059897546023466 is the BTC asset.

The HEAT platform is potentially a big threat to other blockchain projects and centralized exchanges. Hence, FUD in this thread is simply to be expected. People who scream FAIL everytime heatwallet.com is on a fork, simply don't understand how blockchains work. Now that the local wallet is released, the HEAT blockchain should become less dependent on the central wallet.

Omg, where the fuck do these guys come from all the time? HEAT a threat? To what? Potcoin?
stewieg=memberberry : doesn't surprise me. Aussie bloke? That explains the foul language.

By the way, I did my first BTC/HEAT trade with 1-click enabled. Lightning fast and worked like a charm.

Nice theory you got there mate.
Here is my theory:
You are one of Svantes sockpuppets or cocksuckers as I first saw your bullshit popping up in here after the first scam launch date, defending every shitty move of them.
Why do you waste your time trying to convince people of the HEAT scam, huh?

Its time for the ignorelist stewie puppet

New release fixes forging issues people are having.

https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatledger/releases/tag/v.0.9.3

Code:
Heatledger 0.9.3

This is an optional update.

But highly recommended for network stability!

* This version allows you to download, scan and validate the blockchain
* Updated default wellknown peers in config
* Work in progress while preparing for hard fork to be expected in coming
days, hard fork will fix network issues and enable HEAT / ASSET market
  pair creation.

In a few days we'll be doing a hardfork that fixes all this for good.

That link seems incorrect. Duplicated tags, few with dot between v and 0, few without. No actual program to download on that page.

If you choose the UI wallet with server, yes.

You open the wallet.
Go to app server
Press start server (you might have to wait for it to sync)
Then press start mining

Is C-Cex still interested in keeping the HEAT market after  Feb. 9 when buy wall is removed?

I have contacted them countless times.
They first stated they needed a working wallet, then they flat out said they will make their decision after the buy wall is removed.
You either sell into it, or risk everything.

I personally have no idea what I'm going to do with my coins on C-cex. It would be nice to have Svante talk a little about it on here.

I asked them aswell, and told them that I wasnt interested in selling my HEAT. They said they would make an announcement after the buywall was expired.

I am guessing that means that you will at least be able to withdraw your HEAT.
Dont know if they will continue to support HEAT trading, but telling people to wait only to steal their money, would be the worst business practice ever. I dont think they are that stupid.

By 'mining' do mean forging, or traditional meaning of PoW mining?

HEAT API calls it mining.  But it is not PoW, is forging like NXT.  Some may even call it staking.
