Oh, just realized I can't buy any heat because I have 0 heat (mine are on openledger) and even tho I have 7 btc, i can't buy heat on exchange because of 0.01 heat fee. So I'm stuck not having heat. Anyone mind giving me 0.02 heat so I can afford the fee? I'll pay you back double lol ------------------------ (redacted)

I can't get past block 22155, is this common? Scan and Validate are disabled.
Probably forked. Could try this to fix it: For anyone not being able to come on the main fork (and start mining blocks) we've came up with a temporary solution (until we get the new release out in the coming days). We're offering a zipped version of the blockchain that you can download and place in your blockchain folder, the downloadable chain is updated regularly. After downloading make sure to set the following properties in a file that you need to create. Create the file heatledger/conf/heat.properties, where heatledger is your main heat folder. In this file put the following two lines: heat.forceValidate=false heat.forceScan=false Now after deleting all the contents in the heatledger/blockchain folder and having replaced them with the files in the zip you downloaded, you will get on the main fork after you start heat (bin/heatledger.bat on windows, bin/heatledger on mac/linux). https://heatwallet.com/download/blockchain.zip (the file is just 8MB but it will unpack to approx 2.5GB). We are sorry for the inconvenience. It's after following this I am stuck. Before trying it was stuck too. you could contact the chronobank maker, they are releasing their trading pairs on Ethereum, Waves and NEM. Would be nice having them also at Heat Ledger.

I'm guessing they are processing this manually. There has got to be a better way. |

online wallet shows 0 balance... and forging is not going well it seems.
What is going on???
Will be happy to get an update of what is being done to solve it.

Sometimes I enter my passphrase and it opens a completely different wallet. I dont know why this is. I check for extra spaces before and after and thats not it. After a few try's I am able to open my actual wallet. weird..

Then heat slack team should find the best chain they can and put forging power behind that. The 'heatwallet' chain is not necessarily the 'main' chain. It looks to have only 3 big forgers. Get enough smaller ones to overtake and force reorg. |

Get enough smaller ones to overtake and force reorg. That would be terribly unhealthy for the project and could act as a precedent. Seriously, I do not mind Supernet getting couple of additional coins and we should not penalise them for being on the right chain. That would be greed. Um, in PoS forgers set the chain. That's how the consensus works. They are not necessarily on the 'right' chain if everyone else disagrees. I think having more smaller forgers make up the main chain is far healthier. |

Well, in PoW mining power decides on consensus. Point is in both cases of PoW and PoS should behaviour would be considered attack on the network. That would look terrible. I rather wait for Supernet release the chain.
Attack??? Not at all. NXT-based PoS allows reorg up to 720 blocks. If anybody is 'attacking' the network, is SuperNet by hijacking chain with high forging stake. Many smaller forgers should band together to force a reorg. More forgers on more machines is healthier for the network anyway. |

That does sound strange. This reminds me, if you've never sent a transaction from your HEAT account, then the entropy of your account is 64 bits. This could be brute forced in a year or two by a modern supercomputer. If you send a transaction from your account, then a 256 bit public key will be attached to your account number, making it impossible to brute force. |
