There is currently no active market for FIMK right now? Markets listed either don't work or FIMK cannot be deposited there. I would like to swap FIMK for HEAT, any advice (except waiting)? Any help appreciated.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

FIMK can not yet be transferred. But I think it won't be long anymore.

Could you be more specific about when it could be available?

There are no dates available, but this is a hunch of mine. There is a big release upcoming with microservices and hopefully new wallet skin, and this release will hit soonish with a marketing campaign. I myself hope that bringing ETH and FIMK to the AE will be of high priority after that release.

Looking forward to it. Anyway, if someone wants to buy bunch of FIMK, just PM me with your offer.

Looks interesting but not buying any more until it is on a bigger exchange. Bittrex? Poloniex? Liqui? It's quite a long time since launch and HEAT is not there, probably many people visiting this thread, noticing that despite excellent technical progress the coin is not widely tradebale and they are going somewhere else. Even the best tech without visibility will not bring this coin to 100 million market cap. If this was an ethereum based project (which obviously it can not be for technical reasons) the exposure would be enough to reach high market cap already. Anyway, bought some, not selling it and visiting this thread from time to time.

On the other hand I am impressed. The coin went up x10 (10 million market cap VS 2 million market cap after ICO) despite the fact it is not on any big exchange and technical issues prevent automatic BTC withdrawals from the AE. When the project gets fixed it can go much higher. The community looks helpful for new people altought not that active in terms of promoting the coins on bigger exchanges. I understand that many people are not buying HEAT only because it is not listed in serious places (and AE is not an excuse).

Heat Ledger is presenting Tuesday and Wednesday full days at www.moneyfintech.fi. Slight delays on processing Heatwallet BTC withdrawals are to be expected.

As always, some very nice networking and partnership management is in process for most of the time spent at the conference facilities.

https://heatbrowser.com/report.html has accurate numbers, and yes the monthly revenues does seem to be on the high side.

Thanks for the mention! Glad to see your node is stable.

I also have https://heatbrowser.com/calculator.html for anyone who wants to see what they might get if they stake.

I still have a couple of questions on the stacking: will "start mining" enable me to recive PoS and PoP rewards or only PoS?
What do the Remaining / Deadline / Hittime values mean?

I'm getting this:

Am i stacking correctly? It's been almost 24 hours and i'm yet to see any reward.
Thanks

At the moment you will receive both POS and POP. Once POP is implemented you will need to store a slice of the blockchain to receive POP rewards.

I am not completely sure but the Remaining / Deadline / Hittime values represent an apporximation of when you will get your stake reward.

The image doesnt show if you are staking correctly but it looks like the node is running correctly, and if you have the 3 values above then you are likely staking correctly.

The HEAT does need to be in your account for 1440 blocks before you start getting rewards.

It was good thank you. Strengthened existing bank partnerships and sourced some excellent leads for new blockchain based ones. While microservices release and HEAT UI are pending, our focus is currently in polishing these for release with completion of a demo for ABN AMRO's internal blockchain program event on May 30th.

Yes, Bittrex is needed. Most people do not want to trade on obscure exchanges.

Are you one of those guys that gets into coins that arent on polo just yet, then nags to get listed then profits big time? Im seriously not trying to be rude here, its just that most people in this threat understand that HEAT isnt on Polo cause its closed source. Once the rest of the crowd can see the potential of this coin Polo will join the party no doubt. I agree with you though, 100%. Lets get Bittrex happening! Ive always wondered if that would work as a money making trading strategy.. it could be called the  "When Polo Strategy".

Sadly I have not had such luck.  Sad
But I have had a lot of luck finding coins that were "off the radar" that went on to do very well. I believe Heat could be another.

Poloniex is imho overrated but it's true, HEAT needs some better exchange like Bittrex. Looking forward to see new release and also HEAT team should do some steps to make the project more visible and open. Some developer report at least once per month would be nice (weekly would be optimal).

Also how can I start to mine, or earn some tokens? Is there any tutorial?
cheers

*Someone* just told you it was PoW and PoP. This is wrong. I already told that user (was it just yesterday...?) when he asked how to mine:

Just a quick question, how would anybody mine the coin? Just wondering...

HEAT is not a proof-of-work coin, like bitcoin mining, it uses a dual system of PoS (like forging or staking), and PoP when that is ready, here is some information about the block rewards from the original post below for you:

It is forging like other proof-of-stake currencies. It will introduce Proof of Persistance, not sure if that will be immediately, or in the near future.

HYBRID BLOCK REWARDS

For its block rewards granted every 25 secs in average, HEAT uses twin system: half of the block reward comes from traditional PoS (Proof-of-Stake) algorithm, while the other half is granted on PoP (Proof-of-Presence) basis for nodes that host the block files online. The HEAT algorithm monitors the presence of block slice files, and assigns higher probability for slices that have a smaller number of copies online. That way any discrepancy arising in the relative number of different block files is attenuated.

Yeah, somewhere on the roadmap they plan a second ICO to filll their pockets. Hookers are expensive in Thailand these days you know?

Welcome *puppeteer*.

I came across this shit: http://heatpool.xyz/
So you guys are planning to open your own miningpool? Is this yours HEAT team? If it is, it sounds like we have one centralized miningpool?! I mean, there is no miner yet, how would anyone build a pool for HEAT? Can you explain some things on that?

This is not the HEAT team. I made that quickly for a concept project. Anyone can make a Forging/Staking pool.  Also, I'm not sure if/when my imitative will launch, it depends on if it is manageable for me. Also, balances would be leased anyways, not transferring actual ownership, so even if the pool got hacked, no one would lose ownership of their own coins. Proof of Stake will not be centralized... I will announce the page on the heatledger.net forum post where I announced heatpool.xyz originally a while ago: later.

Any user will be free to run Proof of Stake locally or remotely from a server, and when available Proof of Persistence for themselves.

Rice, any update on the pool?
