I wonder when Eth switches over to Pos what will happen to all that hashpower? I have a feeling etc will get a chunk of that  btw: any idea when eth makes the switch to POS? It means most/all gpu coins will crash in profitability. We've been hearing for years that ETH going to switch to PoS soon, and still no news/sign of it. If it actually turns PoS, then ETC would get a boost for sure. Most miners would mine it only. |

I am not really a fan of the monetary policy etc settled for but i like that you have decided to continue with pure PoW, i dont like PoS.
Any plans to add ZK-snarks or somthing to add anonymity?

If i have understood correctly the etc block reward will decrease quickly resulting in the network not remaining secure, no i do not transaction fees will help much and the whole idea of using transactions fees to secure the network is actually pretty stupid. PoW when implemented well(which it hasn't yet) is superior to PoS http://www.truthcoin.info/blog/pow-cheapest/I guess the reason ETH is willing is the cult-like phenomina with Vitalik Buterin and the etherium foundation, the tech itself is not really that impressive of useful imo. |
