the governance model is the most complex project etc faces. they did a lot of discussion about the monetrary cap or no cap of suply sorted how to fix the inhired problems replay and diff bomb.
i think there is now a consensus on the monetary there will be a cap. and a halving like there is in bitcoin. as i recall there are abut 200 mill total planed. but dont nail me on that info .

charles company did a study on goverance in dash but that system has some bugs too

all parts of the comunity have there own interests. investros, miners, users, traders, each group needs to have a say but none should have  to much say. to find a system to fit tht isnt that easy. id rather have it take its time then to rush and fail.

Which token has been using ETC as of now?
I have never actually saw some projects that has been announced lately that are planing to use ETC network. ETH growth i think is due to those tokens using them and currently under their wings.

ETC is mutable too; they mutated their transaction execution rules to fix the recent DoS issues, and there were even a couple contracts with a few ether whose behavior was changed as a result.

Diehard protocol upgrade coming on January 14ht at block 3,000,000. This protocol upgrade includes:

    Difficulty Bomb delay (ECIP-1010)
    EXP reprice (EIP-160)
    Replay Protection (EIP-155)

If you are using geth or parity full node to connect to ETC network, you need to upgrade to the latest release:

    Classic Geth 3.2.3

    Parity 1.4.8

Users of light or web clients (such as Jaxx, clasicetherwallet, etc.) should not be affected.

If ETC price is going to make it's big move this season... the window for Alt-coin rises will not be open as long as last year.

BTC is moving upward at a higher rate as time passes. The timing in between these massive rises has shortened. The next major BTC rise may start as early as April and peak in late May or June at possibly 16,000 cny. Which is great if it happens, but it kind of puts a damper on alt coin rises when it does

After the current bounce back to 7800-8000 cny this week we should see it back down in the low 7000 area within a few weeks.
I am going to guess that ETC stabilizes around 0.0015-0.0017 and waits for BTC to start the downslope of this weeks bounce. Or at latest when BTC hits that new floor and starts to flatten again in 4-5 weeks

So hopefully there are some major market movers that are ready for something soon.
