You can rent Dagger-Hashimoto rigs and point them to one of the "classic" pools.

sorry guys. i dropped a few miners, but it was imperative to get the critical apps off the stratums. i needed to reduce the attack surface. us1.epool.io, us2.epool.io, uk1.epool.io, as1.epool.io. old addresses should still work, but if not use the former. little bumb now to avoid a huge mountain later

Where to download the wallet? Is there a wallet somewhere that's easy to set up? I don't want anything messy with lots of hacking and clicking through options. Anything ready out of the box?

This is how I got a wallet. Not mist but https://github.com/ethereum/mist/releaseshttps://github.com/ethereum/mist/releases/download/0.8.1/Ethereum-Wallet-win64-0-8-1.zipYou can't have the updated blockchain though. So if you already had this software you need to rename Mist and Ethereum in appdata to start fresh and choose no fork. I don't know how they're different. Ethereum sucks compared to btc. I can't even see my transactions wtf? You don't even need to trust us since we're using eth code. Ethf had to get new code not ethc.

Yeah, www.nicehash.com has nice rigs as well. How many ethc can I get with 1 btc Let's try mathing a bit... 1 BTC buys about 7 GH/s for a day. Total network hashrate is 31 GH/s so you would have about 23% of the network. I think the total number of coins mined per day is 25k-ish, so you should be able to mine 25,000*0.23 = about 5,000 to 6,000 ETHC for 1 BTC. I may have messed it up completely though so don't go spending your retirement savings without verifying the numbers yourself. Edit: actually it's ~18% if we assume that you would add 7 GH/s to the network and make it 38 GH/s total. So roughly 4,000 - 5,000 ETHC.

Thanks that's above my $20 floor Then again the market seems to be selling at 2000/1btc Ethc at 33¢ is better than paycoin and just getting started!
