This is the most beautiful retaliation I have ever seen! The Ethereum Foundation are losing control of their ecosystem!! They completely destroyed their first principles by hard forking for a bailout, and now the exchanges and old time Bitcoiners, and even the miners are going to make them pay.

It bears repeating: The immutability of the blockchain is what gives it value. All trust follows from that.  ETC is on the right path.

From my perspective, none of this matters. This coin seems like a great candidate for a pump by scavenging off ETH fomo and offering "cheap" ETH to those who missed out on the bubble. Probably more dumpage yet to come, but to hastily dismiss this coin seems unwise.

i hope this pumps so hard...but i got a feeling it will be skilled traders trading on a permanent downtrend that will take all the btc and hold the etc at the same time...then once its real cheap it will go back to current price...rinse repeat until coin dies

Keep in mind that the exchange rate is volatile, and so is the difficulty. This calculator seems fairly accurate:
