can someone tell me what i need to fill in on nicehash for mining this on ethc.pool ?
filled in something like this
stratum+tcp://uk1.epool.io:8008
and in username i put my wallet address but what to do next?password x ? i cant get a pool connection
Looks like the chain is under attack. The pools having problems accepting all packets. This might be the result of DDoS and mining attacks. I would love to mine ETC but have no wallet. I don't want to download the whole blockchain and have ethereum running on my computer again. I started mining ETH solo to a geth instance way back but ended up mining ETH (up until the fork) at nanopool using a web based wallet MyEtherWallet.com but that is ETH yes?
I don't want to support ETH so I will keep my hashpower pointing at feathercoin until there is a "lite" wallet for ETC... but as soon as... I will pool mine ETC 24/7. You have my support.

Really glad to see support for ETC taking off! Not only have we saved the true, immutable ETH blockchain, but we've ripped the BTC hard-fork-at-any-cost camp's arguments to shreds. Good times! Blockchains are inherently decentralized - immutability and aversion to attack and persuasion is the security methodology this is why we are all here in the first place my friend.  true bitcoiners are immutability freaks. you dont wanna give them the opportunity to drive a speculative attack once you breach the immutability of any alleged system. bitcoin rules. shitcoin dies. You can try using a Poloniex deposit address for mining. Normally I would advice against using exchanges as wallets but this shitty blockchain that takes days to sync is getting on my nerves too. |

As a major etc holder im sure i can ask if you plan on forking before the dao hacker receives his coins or after Tongue
