Hello!

I've been lurking for about a year or so here off and on. Heard my friend Mandrik talking about the cool stuff that goes on here, so finally decided to join.

Hi

I'm just someone waiting for BFL hardware.

There's no quick reply feature to the board...  bummer.

I have no interest in participating in any discussions except for the "wait list" thread for BFL preorders.  I only need to input my order info.  That's it.

But thanks to trolls, I can't do that until I let this browser tab stay open for 4 hours...   and post some useless comments.

Now I need to go make 4 'spam' posts just to bring the count to 5.  I call them spam because like I said, I HAVE NO INTEREST IN PARTICIPATING IN ANY DISCUSSIONS.

Stuff like this really brings the troll out in me.  Why make it so difficult for me to contribute some analytical data?  A single post.  That's all I needed.  You can bet I'll complain about this in my other 4 posts.

It's a waste of bandwidth, site traffic, server storage... you get the picture.

I hope nobody reads any of this, but if you've made it this far, WHY ARE YOU READING POSTS IN THIS THREAD?  Seriously, get back to what you came here to do.  And I'll do the same!  Wink

Hi!

Good choice of a first image. That logo is much better than the crappy BTC being forced into existence.

Yeah second that.

Hello everyone,

This would be my first week mining bitcoins.

Sorry to ask this one but I can't seem to post on other threads, like this one, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=97176.0.

Thanks.

Hey all,
I'm a software developer and bitcoin supporter.  I've not completed any bitcoin related projects yet, but would like to at some point.

Hello everyone,
This is David from the original Alpaca Socks for Bitcoin site!  I've just finished automating our site to automate the order process.
While still clunky, hopefully this is a simpler, faster, and more transparent process than our original email-based ordering process.

I love bitcoins and it's been great to watch it grow up over the last 2 years!

Thanks. I feel the retro-styled logos have a simpler, subtler, more understated charm.

Hi, all!

I've just put up a new bitcoin-related site which accepts bitcoin as a payment method for homemade food items.  I'm hoping that it will do well, and I'd appreciate any feedback/suggestions/ideas/requests.  I also made a post in the newbie forum as a sort of advertisement.  Thanks!

Hi!

I checked out Bitcoin a few years ago and read the paper, but then got distracted by other things. A few months ago, I started looking at Bitcoin again, and this year I ran into some Bitcoin fans at DefCon and they convinced me to get back on the bus.

I'm a software engineer by day, and have always loved crypto. I'm really interested in what we can do to help with user adoption and accesability around Bitcoin. So, if you have an idea about something we could do to get more people using Bitcoin but need help hacking it up, feel free to message me!

Howdy,

I have an online silver bullion store and I'm wanting to accept bitcoin as payment.

However, I am lost and don't even know where to look to find a starting point. I've down-loaded bitcoin, and I think it's mining, but there's a lot of code talke and stuff and I'm completely out of my league. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh yeah,

If anyone want's some silver....

You can find help (like integration with bit-pay, which handles all bitcoin transactions for you, or receiving bitcoins directly) at the Technical Help subforum. I can whitelist you to post there if you can verify that you indeed operate the site to prevents doppelgangers.  Wink A simple temporary message on your site stating "I'm alisium on Bitcointalk.org." would do.
