I'm from Switzerland btw.
Me too. I was quite content lurking. But. PM are useful. Also, why not contribute to the community? Cool, I collect fiat currencies. I don't have any Swiss Francs yet. Got any to offer, mailled to America?
If he/she didn't take you up on that I'd be willing to send you some Francs. Are you interested in paper money or coins?

please do so! and get a post don't be so negative, the 5-post-4-hour-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off. relax take it easy and smile. Mod note: If you see anyone spamming this thread, please report it. Spam will result in an immediate ban.I completely agree with these rules. I am a software engineer and I found out about BitCoin from the TV show called "The Good Wife" and damn was I pissed that I came to the scene so late )) Anyways, my immediate reason for joining is to be able to post my referral links at one of the new and very promising bitcoin mining sites. In the long run I would like to contribute to the bitcoin community as much as possible.

It's taken me a while to figure out I could only post in the newbie section.
Guess that's why they call it newbie.

Hi everybody!
I'm new here. Not much of an introduction, I know, but it will suffice for the first post, I guess.
Have a good one!

Whats happening fellas and females. I ran a bitcoin miner previously, but now I cnt seem to get shit to work right. I dont have any cool as mining rig or a dedicated server or any of that, but I would still like to get a solo op up and running. So, I successfully ran GUI miner on win7x64 for about a day and a half at 30or hash/sec with one card. I have another just lke it installed but windows cant read it and Ubuntu drivers for Ubuntu 12.04 (gnome) are not there. I just really got comfortable with linux type OS been running for three months and I love it. It has sort of opened a whole new level of computing. I dont know jack about code or manual prgrming, but I am smart enough to get by. I also just discoverd windows power shell and it looks like has a lot of potential to chew through the nonsense that comes with windows. I dont troll where I eat, so dont expect any BS from me. I also respect peoples privacy and would prefer to only associate with others who feel the same. I am here to learn and maybe make a little dough. win7\ubuntu 12.04x64 4gb DDR3 RAM AMD Phenom II quad BE Dual NVIDIA Geforce 9800GT/GTX plus(no SLI right now and only one computing)l ready to put em to work.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."
- Carroll Quigley, CFR member, mentor to Bill Clinton, from 'Tragedy And Hope'
