Re: PrimaHoss I'm originally from Montana so not that far away from Wyoming. Living in the Philippines with a really slow connection and good GPUs or any components are hard to come by due to the price and scarcity. Running my CPU right now with 6Kh/s. Sucks. I figured the extra cash from mining the right coins and exchanging them on the market could cover some bills here. But electricity is 4 times more expensive in the Ph. Islands. One of the worst. Not sure if this will work. Maybe I"ll just mine some really devalued cryptocurrencies and just play with them on the exchanges. Acer Desktop AX3400-U2022 AMD Athlon II X4 635 (2.9Ghz) 4 x 512KB L2 cache 4GB DDR3 1333 SDRAM NVidia GeForce 9200 Chipset Huawei 3G Mobile Wifi Hotspot CH1E5331M 7.2mbps supposed connection (more like 100kbps-500kbps) 500 if it's a really good few minutes of the day..... 5000-7000 hashes/second Nothing mined yet and nothing in my wallet :-( Someone donate 0.01? Hello everyone just joined this forum recently and hope to contribute more soon. I've only learned about bitcoins a couple months ago but have totally fallen in love with it and plan to work on a variety of projects related to bitcoins soon.

Hi everyone!
I don't want to say too much, but will say I thought a bunch about the signature on this post. I generated an address for donation at bitaddress.org, and copied it carefully onto a piece of paper (what if someone hacks into my printer? don't printers store old documents sometimes?).
But then I realized that I would want to have it backed up in at least two places. What if my house burns down? I'd have to store it digitally too. So I tried to see if I could copy it into my local Bitcoin-qt wallet. Unencrypted it, fired up bitcoin, but couldn't figure out how to paste in a private key. Can't seem to find the import button.
So I just generated a new address in there and am using that, and it's backed up in "the cloud" so that seems safe enough.
Once I had an address, I thought for a bit about whether to put instructions in the signature. I decided that it sort of speaks for itself.

Hi All,
I'm Alex and just recently joined the Bitcoin community.
I like the idea to have an on-line wallet so I can acces it from where I want. I started out with using Instawallet.org a bit. To me it seems like a good on-line wallet to get started with, you just have to remember that unique URL for you wallet.
I have also tried bips.me and now I have ended up with using blockchain.info.
For now I have just done a bit off sports betting with my bitcoins.
What are you other guys doing with your BTS's
/AlexC
