Hi

http://www.btcmp.com has also nice livestats where can see your blocks instantly. this is nice when you want to check your new setup. I have also implemented the new native long polling method which someone on this forum invented.

So, give us a try. Our invalids percentage is also very low.

I hang out on #btcmp occasionally.

Denis

PS: remember the denis stalker guy? this is me! Wink

Hey all - I'm a new miner, have been at this for a month. I am currently writing an opensource monitoring web interface with graphs and statistics for various pools. I'll release the first version soon so the community can benefit.

Howdy,

I just ordered my first (modest) bitcoin mining rig, gonna get it set up this weekend and I can't wait. I've never seen anything which so completely combines my nerd/libertarian impulses as bitcoin, I only wish I had found it sooner ...

So, cool. We have to write 5 posts before we can do anything else in the forums? That's cool.

Well, I guess i'll get started. This is me.

Hello

Im very interested in Bitcoin from serveral persepctives.

I enjoy anything dealing with economics and and supply/demand and I am very interested to see how a limited currency (very limited when compared to other currencies) will play out over the long run.

I also like the idea behind the no central hub or controller of money. The fastest and easiest way to steal money from people is to drop the value of the money in their pockets.

Finally I  mine (if you can consider my 30mh mining lol) but will speculate a bit into the bitcoin market as well.

Hi All,
I'm in new Zealand and I'm interested in Bitcoins for a number of reasons.

Firstly if they are taken up in the mainstream I feel a few Bitcoins now will be worth a load in the future.

Secondly There just a great idea. Not having to use a bank to send currency is fantastic.

Thirdly Its Awesome

Its very useful Tech. The way it should be..

don't be so negative, the 50-post-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off.

relax take it easy and smile. Cheesy

I was hoping to jump right in, but I can understand the restrictions

Hello... First Post.  Not a fan of this 10 post/4 hour thing since I don't actually spend that much time on boards... but I guess it's good to keep the trolls away...

I like the idea of keeping banks out of the picture too, as well as other parties...lol  But I do wonder how long before certain government organizations try to prevent or tax bitcoin
