Hello  Only really found out about bitcoin a few days ago and I'm really impressed by it all! Didn't think it was legit at first, but now I do and I'm looking forward to posting more on these forums |

Hello Everybody.
I'm from Australia.
I've been dabbling with bitcoins for a few weeks as I'm interested in the tech. Also the fact it avoids all the baggage of paypal, etc - was a nice feeling to donate to wikileaks by going outside of the conventional banking system.
I'm just using the standard bitcoin client on Xubuntu, it is nice and easy to use.
I've also been messed around with CPU and GPU mining, not as a money spinner but just to observe how that side of the network functions, it's interesting.
I've been buying my bitcoins from bitpiggy, it seems a simple, no fuss service for those of us with Australian bank accounts.
I've also got a few shiny casascius physical bitcoins, more as a collectors item thing than anything useful.
Signed up to this forum as I've been itching to post a few times while reading this and that. The butterfy labs FPGA miner device looks waycool!
