hi I have a question for you. Where I can buy Antshares? I missed ICO. And what was ICO price of Antshares? Is it higher than ICO price now or below? let me know, thanks!! https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/antshares/#marketsMost ANS markets are located in the East as you can see in the link above. The best place for you to buy is likely https://bittrex.com/Keep in mind that that is a Bitcoin - Antshares market. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe the following is a bit of a silly question, but I just transferred my ANS from Bittrex to my ANS wallet (with the following wallet address: AShx2Q2Kbghv7t1PZeoJjMomBzgn1qrExz), but my ANS is not showing up in my wallet. The transaction did however show up at AntChain.xyz, Antcha.in and Bittrex. Any idea on how to proceed?
wait for your wallet to fully sync ....The block number is now 1017810.... here is were live blocks are https://www.antshares.org/Home/IndexThanks a lot! That indeed solved it. I initially thought I had fully synchronized my wallet, but the first number had not caught up with the last one.

Will there soon be a pretty and functional wallet?
The windows wallet is boring and unconventional working ..
My computer cleared the .exe, certainly because it was afraid of a virus .. The online wallet, is marked as unsecured for my internet browser ..
Is this going to improve? Is your priority?
Thanks in advance to the team for his answer ...

Putin Meets With Ethereum Founder To Create National Virtual Currency:http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-06-12/putin-meets-ethereum-founder-create-national-virtual-currencyIt seems rather obvious that the BRICS alliance is looking for a platform that can compete with and take out the World Reserve Currency, namely the US Dollar. It seems they have their eyes on blockchain technology to do so. Antshares is however far superior to Ethereum and practically all other cryptocurrencies for that matter. The thing is that the BRICS alliance needs asset backing such as gold to do so as otherwise it would have no competitive advantage. The way I see it Antshares could technically be the vehicle to take out most cryptocurrencies and the World Reserve Currency at the same time. The asset backing for this in case Antshares would want such a role is not optional. International trade has to continue as the US Dollar is phased out and Western monetary supremacy is brought in line with economical realities. If this happens, it would logically be an excellent investment, but far more importantly than that, it would be a vehicle that allows the transition to a multipolar world which effectively be a sort of second industrial revolution or second Renaissance if you would prefer to call it that which not only restores national sovereignty, but also brings freedom to a new level. Of course in such a scenario shareholder influence and dividends probably would take on another role.

On Byzantine Fault Tolerance in Blockchain Systemshttps://cryptoinsider.com/byzantine-fault-tolerance-blockchain-systems/The Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) is a proposed alternative consensus algorithm to the better known Proof-of-Work and Proof-of-Stake algorithms. Notable blockchain projects like Ripple, Stellar, Hyperledger and Antshares are investigating versions of BFT systems for their blockchain-enabled products. Byzantine fault-tolerant algorithms could be increasingly important in the future due to their ability to minimize attacks and software errors which lead to faulty nodes and arbitrary behavior. Delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerance (dBFT)
Antshares, a decentralized smart contract platform, employs Delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerance (dBFT). It features two blockchain participants: professional node operators, called bookkeeping nodes, who run nodes to make money, and users. Proponents claim dBTF offers better security in blockchains.
dBFT’s on-chain voting process dynamically votes in/out transaction validators and allows for universal consensus mechanism on public/permissionless and private/permissioned blockchains.
“Specialized bookkeeping nodes” achieve consensus in a dBFT blockchain thanks to “delegated voting.” Two-thirds approval is needed among nodes to approve a new version of the blockchain. This system, proponents say, protects against forking events, radical changes to the implementation of a blockchain system that can undermine participant confidence.
“After investigating and studying the crypto-industry and blockchain technologies for several years, we came to the conclusion that the delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerance alternative (or dBFT) is best suited for such a system,” Erik Iz, co-founder and core developer at Antshares, stated. “It provides swift transaction verification times, de-incentivises most attack vectors and upholds a single blockchain version with no risk of forks or alternative blockchain records emerging – regardless of how much computing power, or coins an attacker possesses.”

When will the ANC that was won in the lottery be distributed?
Is there any instructions for how to run a node on linux?
yes there are many instructors behind us and it is need of the hour to search them...

This new system Byzantine Fault Tolerance looks interesting concept. I don't know much technical things but it put me to read more about it. I will carry on reading the article using link and this is what caused of price spike for Antshares. Actually that brought me to the thread to find out what is going on here with development.

Just wait for BITTREX to sync their wallet to antchain.xyz www.bittrex.com/statusYou can see the status of your coin.

I downloaded the wallet and when I opened I got a pop up saying something like i needed to download the asset managment.
So I have a wallet which in the right bottom is saying waiting for next block and in the left bottom is saying : height: 827xx/1027619
I tried to make a new wallet database but seems I have to upload a file ?
Do I just have to wait or is some further action requiered ? Just want to safely store my ANS and make some ANC with (staking?)

New to ANS, and just moved my shares to my own wallet from Bittrex. Question though... why is the TX fee 1 ANS? Isn't that very high for low volume transactions? And won't the cost be quite substantial if the price of ANS drastically increases? If someone could explain better to me how this could impact the future, or if it will ever change, I'd love to know.
@bamsterdam, to my understanding, you must wait for it to completely sync. The numbers of XXXXX/XXXXX need to be equal... it was somewhere around 1,030,000 this morning. It will take several hours.

I think its better to buy antshares now as much as we can as the value will go double within the next 2 months and it will be a good profit for all,and if we can hold it for long time then the antcoin will give us nice profit in the future.

Price are constantly are on increase although sometimes there is small correction but overall we can see upwards moves more. I do agree that before everything to be completed people still have time to buy. In a month or so time from now we will be seeing and talking about current prices that it was cheaper.

isnt that the fee bittrex uses maybe there is a little profit in it for them? Otherwise is seems a bit high indeed My wallet is synced but nothing changed. I need to upload my wallet file? Does someone know what that is?

Does someone know what that is? I don't believe so. The same 1 ANS fee was charged when I sent a few ANS back to my Bittrex wallet. I also read about the general fee being 1 ANS in this thread when doing a search... just doesn't make any sense to me for long-term growth. Imagine if ANS hits the price of what ETH is today... nobody will ever want to pay a $350 fee for moving small amounts. Also, to create a wallet, it should be the first option... don't have the program open right now to tell you exactly what it is. It will ask for a location and name of the wallet file to create. Upload wallet file is how you will load the wallet afterwards when you open the client later.
