9/18/13 EDIT:
Most whitelist requests aren't necessary now.  All it takes to move up is 1 post and 4 hours elapsed since that post.  Please PM a moderator if you have an urgent reason for being whitelisted.

If you have a need to be allowed into the forum beyond before you have completed the required 5 posts and 4 hours logged in, please post your request here. You must provide evidence that shows that you either understand more about Bitcoin than the average newbie, or that what you want to post can only be done in another forum. Reasons such as "I'm not a spammer" will be ignored. Try to be as specific as possible.

If you learned of Bitcoin through a currently established member of this forum who feels that you are ready to be released to the rest of the forum or who is willing to mentor you, or if you want to make a new account that is separate from your already-existing established forum account, have the existing user/account vouch for you after you have made your request.

If you are asking to be whitelisted because you are having a problem with something, we generally look more favorably on people who have already attempted to solve their issue in the Newbie board. Even if you end up not qualifying for preemptive whitelisting, your post might still qualify for being moved to another board if you have received insufficient help after a few hours.

Also:
- You must have made one post in order to send PMs.
- You need 10 posts to put a link in your signature.

Please note: If you see "Jr. Member" by your name, you have already met the 5 posts and 4 hour requirements and don't need to post here. Additionally, after you meet the requirements, it can take up to 10 minutes for your account to be automatically upgraded.

Hey,

I'd like to request to be back in the forums.

Much appreciated, you can see thru my posts and threads I'm not a spammer. I've purchased products in the marketplace as well, you can ask the sellers for a recommendation.
Currently the admin of xtremeroot.net community and worked on vBulletin development (with vb's parent company Internet Brands, LLC), familiar with forums and rules

Thanks

Hello,

I'd also like to be allowed in the forums. You can see my posts, I'm not a spammer, I'm a software developer looking to add to the bitcoin movement, (see: https://github.com/mr-sk/Botcoin).

I'm also an account holder in good standing on the various brokerage sites, deepbit and more.

TIA.

Hi,

I am a long time lurker on the bitcoin forums and I would like to once again feel like I am a part of this community. Even though I don't post often (isn't this the problem you are trying to fix?) I now feel like a second class member of this community. I feel obligated to post nonsense in the event that when I do feel like posting a legitimate thread, I can do so in the proper location.

Please make me feel whole again....

Looks like i posted a whitelist request just on the cusp of the new whitelist request sticky in the newb policy discussion thread. At the request of a mod I'm reposting here.

Quote
I just started mining about a month ago with a 5550 that my friend wasn't using. It was only putting out about 40Mh/s but I guess that's still pretty respectable. I just found a reference 6950 online (not easy) that I flashed with the 6970 firmware to unlock the shaders. I'm getting about 400Mh/s now. I know that's still not that much but...

Anyways, I know I just joined but I've been lurking here for about that same amount of time. I used to use the deepbit pool but I just moved over to BTCGuild and I want to join in on the fun over there in that thread and ask some questions that probably won't even be seen here.

Any chance on a whitelist?

Thanks!

And another Whitelist-request... I'd really like to discuss bitcoin economics, which obviously is an issue that should be talked about these days.

Thanks,

I would like to request to be whitelisted. I just got onto the Bitcoin scene yesterday, so I can't cite years of dedication, but if you look at my post they are not spam or trolling, and as such I would like to be able to continue my contributions to and learning in this community. But I will understand if you don't want to whitelist me just yet, no hard feelings.

Please let me out.

I did join a few days ago, but I posted in the regular forum before the new newbie rules and you can see from my earlier posts before that point that I am not spamming or trolling.

Hello, I'm new to the BTC community. I spent most of yesterday learning a great deal about BTC and setting up my miner. I'm interesting in contributing my services to the BTC community and learning more about what rigs would be the most efficient miners for the price so I can focus more on that.

I'm a computer repair technician, a novice programmer, and an intermediate player of igo/baduk. Services related to these things are what I'd like to offer to the BTC. I may also eventually  seek out services in exchange for BTC such as artists and other programmers for my game development projects. Thank you and it's nice to meet all of you!

If you have an immediate need to be allowed into the forum beyond, please post your request here.

Much obliged.

Hello Atlas,

Although I have a few posts, I have been member of this forum for quite some time now. I am the owner of aurumxchange.com, listed on the bitcoin wiki as an exchanger. I regularly work with Mark (MTGOX) and Shane (NANAIMOGOLD) and they both know me quite well and can probably vouch for me. I am not a troll Smiley. There are posts on the main forum made by me that date way back. Can I please have my account removed from the "newbies" section?

PS: Just a suggestion, you guys might want to impose these restrictions based on date of registration instead of number of posts. MOST trolls will register fresh accounts to post their rantings.

Thank you!

I want to be allowed back onto the other forums as normal as I've commited no crime or offense on here yet I found my self stuck to the newbies forum. You can see from my posts that I'm not a spammer and I feel I'm a victim of an unjust policy.I only expect ppl to be blacklisted if they've done something wrong as opposed to preventing them by chance.

UPDATE:Guys,it looks like my problem is fixed now and can access all other forums without issue for some areas so far.
