How come I never received my blackbytes?

I'm in the same boat. I got my bytes though, 2 days ago.  Smiley

Blackbytes always airdrops later.
I also received my blackbytes just now, 3 days after gbytes.

Same here. Last time I got mine almost after 6 days. Dont worry. If you got Bytes then you will definitely get Blackbytes, unless you screw up anything Smiley

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Is one of the acts of screwing something up changing my hub to west.byteball.us/bb? I did this days before the full moon but after I linked most of my BTC addresses, I believe.

Hi everybody.
To get some byteballs I need to have BTC on my wallet then?
How is it working, can anybody give me a link how to do that?

Go to this site - https://byteball.org/

Download the wallet and after downloading wallet you need to send your BTC address (Address from the wallet which you can sign a message) to the bot in a wallet then it will give you the instruction on how you need to verify your BTC wallet. If you do that once then next time you will receive airdrops automatically to this account.

@MrMoneyShark, the transition Bot is down right now. You will need to wait until the last distribution is completed. Check back in a few days.

We Bitcoin holders know how to properly hold.

Ok. I didnt mean that. I meant that mostly people who received bytes for free dump. It is obvious

Yes, from looking at the transition page btc whales havent sold a Gbyte
...
Anyone who hodl bitcoin from early days until now is certainly not " weak hands"  and they have the most to gain by byteball being successful too because they will have a higher stake after the distribution rounds...

Oh really? You can't say for everybody. I don't think that people who bought bytes would sell for this price. Freerollers. Obvious.

Looks like mostly noobs dumping....

Noobs dumping gbytes. No one serious will dump at this price.
its typical after airdrop.

Noobs? What did you mean by that? I'm not talking about skill or something. Free distribution is a problem. That's my point

Not stored in DAG, encrypted and traverses Byteball network, looking for its destination, stored at hubs for a configurable amount of time. You can chat with anyone, if you haved paired previously with the other device/person before - otherwise spam would be a problem.

If I want to chat with you (and you want this too), how this goal can be accomplished?

You have to talk again to the transition bot if you moved to a hub other than the one you where on when you linked.

I'm just curious. If BTC forks on August the 1st, what chain will be referred to for distribution. UASF or legacy?

I said hi several times. However, I now notice my transition bot's hub is byteball.org/bb, but my global is west.byteball.us/bb. I did get my bytes already though. Just waiting for BB.

BB distribution is different. BB are sent to the hub the bot has seen you the last time to your attention. That's why you have to say "hi" to the bot if you moved to a new home hub since the last distribution.

I'm confused by which hub it would have seen me on. My global is set to west.byteball.us/bb, but the bot is set to byteball.org/bb. Do I need to switch my global back to byteball.org/bb to get my BB?

The recent all crypto dumps got me offguard, bought just after the distribution dump, but now the prices are even lower.

Hopefully price will recover and I at least don't lose.

Byteball does not use a blockchain, it uses a DAG.  And you are obviously a farmed account.

No necessarily. The first question is: what was your hub when you linked ? west.byteball.us/bb ?

How to run the same byteball wallet in two different computers?

Use a 1-of-2 multi-sig setup like described in our wiki: https://byteroll.com/wallet#main-menu-options

Probably byteball.org/bb. However, I must have communicated with the transition bot several times after I changed to west.byteball.us/bb. I even linked an additional address after switching my global hub.
