I have a question to developers and especially for tonych: What will be after distribution? Do team have any plans for next step of development? What kind of future for Byteball you see? Any agreement with some platforms and startups?
Raw technology it's not enough too keep price high.  Undecided

You mean actually using it for fast, near feeless transactions is not good enough ? I highly doubt that.

Takes two sides to make a transaction! Near Feeless is good, but will we ever be able to buy Groceries with Byteball?  That is my secret crypto wish....

Great question I have a feeling tonych is secretly working on something pretty big as he has only been putting out bug fixes lately.  But what do I know  2018 could be  byteball's year in a  huge  way once airdrops finish.

guys . stop selling you chickens. unbelievable. this coin is one of the best projects in my opinion.

dump the other shit and hold this coin!

It doesn't matter what you think or what you want.
This is not how it works. Don't fight the market! You will always lose that way.
So sit it out, hold the coins you have if you believe in it's success and try to take advantage of the actual circumstances and maybe buy more if you can or just sell and relax. Anything else will just make you go crazy in your head. Not healthy I can tell!

The low price now is probably a good opportunity, but all depends on the bitcoin, which is the king of the cybercurrency.

Take it as a buying opportunity .......It wont last
People now are lucky because these prices will rise exponentially after year 1

If a cryptocurrency will ever do that (and it looks pretty inevitable) then you can bet your ass byteball is gonna be at the top of that list, btc is too slow for that and eth will have too high fees in a year, the only thing byteball needs is more users (or at least bigger trade volume).

I think byteball only has two possible outcomes: either massive selloffs happen and development stalls and  byteball settles in at $50-100 as forgotten coin or it moons and hits maybe 0.75 btc/gb or even btc parity and becomes a top 3 crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum and Byteball).   Thats my humble opinion.

We might see some sellofs now and then, and possibly after distribution is all done. But i think byteballs underlaying technology is great and that will be the fuel for byteball to thrive.

All will depends of the developpment arround the project.
The distrinution of ByteBall is the best (because the larger) I known.
After the end of this distribution, the monthly 20 % bonus will gone and will depends of the real project.

It makes sense to hedge then. Sell some before the distributions stop and keep the rest. Eitherway, yoy have earned something.

I myself have bought some GB months ago to take advantage of the distribution. I plan to sell only as much as I bought and keep the rest. So in no way have I lost anything

Surely the success of Biteball depends on mass adoption. But, there is always a but...Still, there are a lot of technicalities to work on to improve byteball platform.  I think there is a need to add option  to install its database on external HDD/SSD thus preventing it from the  high priority system interruptions  that slow down the sync routine.

Version 1.9.2 released https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releases

This is mainly a bugfix release.
* Fixed two issues that caused full clients to crash while syncing in some circumstances (one of them was reported in this thread multiple times)
* Fixed restore from seed that was broken in 1.9.1
* Fixed restore from full backup that stopped working when the database exceeded 4 Gb
* Added warnings about cloning wallets
* Added welcome instructions
* Improved translations

Tonych, thanks for the updates! Is there plans to change distribution rates? Maybe give less GB per BTC or something like that?

oh, I can see how far my ByteBall client is behind others... as it is showing time and date where it is during syncing -like it.

anyone think holding crypto currency's (BTC, Byteball, some others...) compare to printed by politicians fiat money on retire is good idea?

https://www.bitmex.com/app/register/XTo064 - enjoy a 10% fee discount for 6 months.

Believe me I have been torn  over hedging for  the longest.   Ultimately I am an optimist  and truly believe  Byteball could be  something special but  unlike some other alts this could  take a long time to  really get big.   I'm content with just hodling and see what happens when the dust  settles.  I'm ok with taking the  risk  its  all upside for me  anyway.   If  I  lose it all my  life doesnt change much but if  it goesto the moon well you know the rest Cool

That's the big question, will the supply from people selling airdrop coins decrease more than the demand from people trying to qualify for more airdrop coins.

I think it depends on what sort of announcements we see from the devs over the next couple of months.

Hello, Guys.
I need to know the best way to increase my balance.
Do I have to install on multi PC and Mobile and create multi address and sign them with multi Bitcoin address?
Or it's enough to create a multi wallet in and pair with others devices?
.cryptic.

The best way is to link more btc balance to your byteball address and hold the existing byteball
for the compound interest.
