Is there any news on possible listing of zcoin on bittrex? volume on nova is big enough compared to other coins listed there. I have a hunch it will be this week.. Smiley

I tweeted bittrex via my twitter if they would add zcoin soon? they said...

"no.  we don't comment on launches."

This is a standard response from them, Anyway hopefully they add it soon.

Cheers
CryptoDove

Of course they don't. But the volume of zcoin on nova is very attractive considering it has few patrons compared to major exchange such as bittrex.

Is suprnova and novaexchange related? cancel nova we'll have a suprexchange. LOL

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Where is current hashrate Suprnova or MN? Can not choose which info is real..

Both are accurate; nethashrate (equivalent to networkhashps via getmininginfo) is quite irrelevant, as it is based on calculations derived from the rate that blocks are being solved, its not actually derived from network conditions.
Suprnova is 1,600kh/s and Pool.mn is around 240kh/s.

If you were to take the same share rate/size as currently being submitted (as scrypt), you'd divide the results by 128 for Lyra2.

Additionally, i got quite sick of xzc.pool.mn; as the stratum appeared to continuously fail and reappear last night (no doubt due to traffic).
This may actually be an implementation problem with Zerocoin and not pool.mn itself.
Ok, that is good to know. But statistics page on both pool show total different results.

apologies; my answer contradicts itself.. whichever nethashrate is higher will be the accurate 'world' hashrate. however both pool hashrates are correct.

to me it seems like my personal current hashrate is off by one decimal on suprnova:

is: 1.37kh/s
should be 0.137kh/s aka 137h/s

dont know about pool/net hash

I'm aware but there is some stuff in the backend (statistics) that break completely when I bump that decimal. Since the algo will be changing to mtp anyway it's not worth the hassle now if I have to change it again later IMHO.

When will the new version of the wallet be out? I've been mining for sometime on suprnova and would like to know. Seems like the devs could update us a little more frequently

Any time frame? Will it fix the unconfirmed coins, the database issues and will it come with a new algo?
Are you the dev btw?

Hi

In terms of price it will definitely go up if poloniex or bittrex gets added, also with the related zcash launch on 28 october the zcoin price should shoot up as well. Not sure if it will hit 0.1 btc but it will go up fairly soon.

I think it should hit bittrex soon, as the devs just need to update and fix their zcoin wallet. The Bittrex slack mentioned that they are waiting on the dev to fix issues with the wallet before they reconsider adding it.

Anyway patience is needed in trading, it is best to accumulate and buy now while the price is relatively low BEFORE it gets added to the major exchanges.

Cheers
