It's not "bad" per say, but it's not the best either. At this point, it's difficult to compete from our desktops. Server farms are ruling the scene.

5760 new coins per day...
Is it the number from December 1, 2016? Is the founder's reward not considered here? What would be the coin generation per day from October 28, 2016 to November 30, 2016? take your hashrate divided by network hashrate and multiply it by 5760
Is there any way to know the network hashrate? I mean any website or something?

There are only two exchanges at the moment? Is there any forecast Polo add Zcoin? I do not trust the current two exchanges cryptopia is smaller but very trustworthy exchange. I can't vouch for the other as I have never used them. I once had a good feeling about Cryptopia as well. Now I don't trust them any longer, since they delisted some coins and banned users without giving any reason (and also being very rude).

The one called 'hex' could be characterized as an asshole, in simple terms. However exchange is legit, and they are trying to build a good environment. I trust that exchange, to be honest. The only problem with them - is the behaviour of owners, who enjoy being the "rulers" of the place, feeling themselves 'emperors' of their own small handmade empire

small question regarding the wallet: every time i start it it keeps "reindexing blocks" starting from block 0 till current block, this process takes quite some time. i have not seen this in other wallets from different coins, is this true for everybody, or is it just me (tried with windows and linux)? seems rather odd to have to wait for every block ever created to be processed each time the wallet is started.
same here.. Wallet seems to be stuck on block 2625 here. Very frustrating. I encountered no problem so far when i compiled mine. use dev branch. git clone -b dev https://github.com/zcoinofficial/zcoin.gitill try that, lets hope the best The devs warned us not to compile from the dev branch. I guess we just have to wait.... What sort of warning he gave? This build does not reindex but i do notice when it fetches new block and scryptminer initiates, shows the hashmeter, then after that shows zero hash when you call gethashespersec. I do wonder if the cpuminer can be pointed to the wallet? any ideas felix? can confirm current dev branch does not reindex, i suppose this patch will be included in the next regular release

i5 is almost as good as i7 for zcoin. Also an i7 with 4 threads is the same speed as 8. It's all about memory bandwidth, the cores sit idle half the time. I've added zcoin to cpuminer-opt with AVX2 optimizations. Although the same optimizations produced significant improvements with Lyra2RE and Lyra2REv2 there was no noticeable difference with the zcoin implementation of Lyra2 mainstream CPUs. LGA2011 has more memory bandwidth so it may do better.

There are only two exchanges at the moment? Is there any forecast Polo add Zcoin? I do not trust the current two exchanges Roger Ver has that kind of pull and zcoin has that kind of tech... It's not a question of IF... just when Where are you seeing that Roger Ver has invested?
