Back to what price I originally sold for the day it was launched. I made the very first sale off the market with a guy on Slack.
Was a pain configuring the 280x to run on ScryptN.

Hi,
I'm pretty much new to crypto currency and have been trying to mine xzc for a few days. Does the price drop suggest xzc is dying? Any help would be appreciated. Should I sell it for the current price or is it worth waiting a few days to look for any rise in price?
Thanks

What a trollbox this thread has turned to... A box full of crying trolls, everyone pursuing his own private goals only... @ Disguised: do not listen advises given here. Most (99%) advices you'll get, will be given to take advantage of you. Listen only those whom you do know to be trustworthy. so will that new algo be cpu mining friendly?
It will be CPU mining friendly but hopefully not botnet friendly with much larger RAM requirements Temporary fix for Lyra2 algo is in latest release. https://github.com/zcoinofficial/zcoin/releases@ zcoinofficial: Why do you think much larger RAM requirements will filter botnets out? This could filter out botnets based on IoT devices, right? Then again, it depends on how big those RAM requirements will be (100Mb?, 500Mb?, 2G?, 8G?). Any info on this?

Coin is 32 blocks behind on the day. The difficulty doesn't lower itself fast enough.

Appreciate the response. What's your take on this man? Do you think it still is profitable mining for xzc? Will the prices go higher in near future or we are witnessing the demise of zcoin? Thanks

Thanks Will it rise or fall? I will be honest with you: I do not know . If I had the crystal ball, I would have already been far away from here, from forum, from ctypto and from computers - on my own island in tropical countries drinking something nice, surrounded by nice local (and probably some imported too) girls The same applies to practically anyone here (with small variations, mostly on the placement of the island, and the number of girls), even though not everybody will admit that Whether it is profitable to mine it now - depends on the cost of running the mining equipment you use. So only you could know if its profitable to you. If you are not sure, mine it for a day, make your calculations and see if it was profitable, and what are the margins.

By that I meant what's your opinion about this Looks like you've been digging around for a while. I'm still trying to learn but this ain't easy for any new comer I guess And there are no crystal balls that would led you to be surrounded by local & imported girls You have to spend plenty of money just to afford one girl, let alone surrounded (that would be a dream come true though )

Well, ZEC is dropping 20% per day, probably will end up well below 0.1... And the "big XZC dump" on Bittrex was about 1 BTC is size, hardly panic selling in the context of 50 BTC volume.
Maybe zero knowledge is just not cool anymore... When the hipsters move on it's all over (see Bitcoin since 2013).
yea, ZEC's dropping very fast
