What do you hear about this coin ? I heard some rumors about zcoin but I believe it's not true . They are trying to devalue zcoin to buy at a cheap price before MTP released and I knew this truth so Many investors will be regretful about these rumors Wait and see what will happen next? |

I have no idea what speculations are there in Slack as we have been watching it and within it and have been answering it properly.
Recently banned two guys for continuously swearing and scolding bad words insulting Zcoin and our devs when the price didn't go up during the latest alt coin boom (even prior to the altcoin bloodbath).

It will make Zcash redundant, but I believe Zcoin is still unique from both. In their paper I just read over, they say they're going to have a public blockchain in all its glory, but then use a sidechain-esque mechanism that people can opt into, and that will be using the Zcash model. They explicitly state that this is to protect the main, public chain from the possibility of unnoticed inflation of the anonymous token. They acknowledge the risk of Zcash having unseen inflation exploits, but they're segregating it as a sub-token on the same blockchain and feel as this is enough - users know the risks when they opt-in, if you will. It's a unique setup for sure, but it's still using Zcash by the sounds of it for anything on the private mechanism. Zcoin remains distinct in this respect, from what I can tell, offering a bit more transparency about the integrity of the supply. I can understand more clearly about the Zcoin mechanism and It will help us know transparency about the integrity of the supply. That's why I still choose zcoin and I want to buy more zcoin if I have more money. |

Im tired of the price going down... im switching to eth or zcash but i wont sell my coins. I really like this project but i also want to get money and now im loosing a lot as i didnt sell xzc when the bitcoin was at 1200$

My personal opinion is that this project is one of the best in the crypto area for potentials: when all the target present in the official roadmap (here: https://github.com/zcoinofficial/zcoin/wiki/Roadmap) will be delivered (which should be in one year) the price we see now could look very cheap. As always, it's a matter of belief in these potentials, and holding tight in the moments where disruptive developments are in progress. |

That's a good decision when you do not sell zcoin with cheap price. I just only buy more and hold it for a while we can see some good changes in next days. The patience is the key of success. |

How say....be patient or sell your coins and go away. For the second choice, it's good for invertisor to have cheap coin. 0.02 will be the first stage, then will down to 0.004/0.005. Second stage will be like the first. The w trade diagram will be the zcoin road until one day, in few years, where zcoin will be famous like monero, dash or eth. Every serious coins have this kind of montain view. The only question is : zcoin is it serious? Only dev work and time can respond to this question. Remember Darkcoin / dash, bitcointalk thread was similar until the first pump. After that, monero trollers was there. Zcoin seems to be the darkcoin's son so investisor has just to be PATIENT and beware of zcash trollers. |

Don't be disappointed abou this coin. it has got a big potential in the future.
The decrease is good chance to buy and hold it for a while before big news is coming.

So what is the exact roadmap regarding Ethereum integration?
Also, when installing/starting up the zcoin mac wallet, it always crashes after 10 seconds or so...
it says:

I'm looking into this project and what I see is a very promising future ahead. The roadmap is very good. Although, from my perspective, there are some points that need to be clarified for the sake of transparency and community confidence.
1. The recent bug.
Zcoin team/community, are we 100% sure of the circulating supply at this time? Is there a possibility that a lot more than 388,450 counterfeit XZC have been created by the recent attack (or a subsequent one) and that it would go unnoticed? In other words, do the Coinmarketcap supply indicating 2,090,000 circulating coins at this moment is 100% reliable and verifiable?
2. The risk of a 51% attack.
There are still concerns in the community about the possibility of a 51% attack occurring because of the centralization of mining. Are there plans to mitigate, or even eliminate, the risk of such an occurrence?

There are various reasons why XZC price has gone down a bit compared to Zclassic. One of them is the imminent Zencash launch occurring in a few days. Zclassic is forking into Zencash. Each Zclassic holder will get 1 free Zencash for each ZCL they hold. So there is a bitcoin magnet towards Zclassic going on for the few days left before Zencash is launched on May 23. Many people want to buy Zclassic to get free Zencash. Also there is lot of hype around Zencash, they even made a biased infographic favorably comparing Zencash to Zcoin, why Zencash will be better etc. but it is my opinion that Zcoin has stronger fundamentals than any of the Zcash derivatives. |
