Bravo Claymore!

v8 now gives me R9 390 = 270 H/s per card!

Updates:

R9 290 = 268 H/s

R9 290x = 278 H/s

RX 480 = 172 H/s

R9 Nano = 278 H/s

R7 370 = 110 H/s

Can you provide some power consumption data for 290/290x/390? Per card or rig.

the rigs are offsite - will post when I access them tomorrow morning.

I updated remotely all the rigs that are with 1600w PSUs = 7x 370s, 5 x 390s, 6 x Nanos, and 6 x 480s.

With CDM v7.4, these rigs are mining ETH full speed, ethi 16 and nearly 80-85% of PSU.

But with CZM v7, these rigs are well under 65-70% of PSU.

Hope the CZM v8 doesnt reach CDM power draw because CZM runs with less heat and significantly lower power -  and all these good points will be neutralised when CZM v8 equals CDM v7.4 powerdraw.
5x 390,5x480,2x7950s 3 psus total watts 3300 all on a single 240 volts ac circuit 12.5 amps= 3000 watts total hashrate 2.8 Kh/s  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

3x r9 390 + 1x r9 290 = 1130w-1150w - 1120 h/s
3x r9 390  = 930w-950w - 885 h/s
3x r9 290  = 830w-850w - 725 h/s

in total 2730 h/s = 2890w - 2950w

Do you realize that we are all rising the hashrate, rising the diff, and then earning the same as before??

actually nvidia are earning less because it is not on par with amd

Yes, but it's a thrill getting 20% bumps in hashrate Tongue

It's been said many times before, but we're also drowning out the CPUs aka botnets by making GPUs more faster.

It's squeezing out more and more miners since this is for a very specific build (windows, 64 bit, newer AMD cards).  Not only that, it is making a few specific card models more profitable since each new version is raising the high hash card by more sol/s then the low hash cards.  Incrementally a very specific mining machine build is becoming more profitable at the expense of other builds.

Have to love v8: (6 x RX480s)

where did you get this grafic?

I built an API layer that allows me to switch between whatever (gpu) coin is (currently) the most profitable automatically.
The graphing is just a "nice to look at". I wouldn't mind people using it but I suspect it will land up being DDOS'd rather quickly.

would it be ok for me to use your API, if so how do I connect?

Some hash/ watt numbers from a single 295x2. At the wall only that one card connected to psu.

275s/s 180w
290s/s 195w
365s/s 230w
480s/s 350w
500s/s 400w
560s/s 560w (default for that card)

High and low end numbers could be better but I am more interested in that 200-400w zone. Also it is not that gpu alone, mb+ddr+cpu+os+riser+pcie slot combo still does something to equihash performance.

has anyone tinkered with the clock and gpu settings for a Sapphire 470 OC 4GB?

Currently getting 170h/s on stock everything and wondered what to tweak to try and improve hashrate

If anyone cares,
I can confirm less rejected shares in v8, I'm getting ~2% rejects, previously had ~4% in v7!

Cheers!

Exactly. It seems core clock is more important in ZEC than we were used to in ETH
I have it undervolted so I can't get it to more than 1350
GPU @ 1350 gives me about 205 to 210 h/s
All GPU's custom rom

Anyone else ?
Both workers

On gigabyte g1 I'm running at 1420 and Mem at 8200 for 208 to 212 sols. It works at 1440 and crashes at 1460.
