I just tried dwarfpool mined for two hours
Earned nothing?
Here's my bat file
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool zec-eu1.dwarfpool.com:3333 -zwal xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -zpsw x -wd 1 -r 0 -i 6

I appeared to connect just fine and I saw my accurate hash rate displayed along with shares found ...but no earnings?

same here, no earnings a looot of time

Pool didn't find any block last 8 hours, u get paid when pool finds a new block.

Do you have any Idea what the average time it takes to find a block?

They are ideally timed at one block every 2.5 minutes.

For the whole network.................

Dwarf pool started.

I am testing it. But the calculated speed is around 10% higher than the speed reported by Claymore. I also used the flypool, the speed is 6% below Claymore. I am not sure which one is better.

Like any other pool, dwarf will take some time before showing stable results

Yea give it some time. Dwarfpool is the most stable and consistent pool I've ever mined with.

can any one give me code for .bat file for DWARFPOOL i am using this code for 5 cards but getting error

zecminer64.exe -zpool zec-eu1.dwarfpool.com:3333 -zwal aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.MYRIGNUMBER1 -zpsw x

Try changing your Port:

Main-Port (vardiff): 3333
Stratum-Port (diff=8): 3334 for CPU
Stratum-Port (diff=128): 3335 for videocards
Stratum-Port (diff=512): 3336 for rigs
Stratum-Port (diff=1024): 3337 for big rigs

is my code ok?

and rightnow i am using http://zcash.flypool.org
is dwarfpool is better than flypool?

Don't use letters in worker identifier, only numbers

how many sols with R9 290? anybody?

r9 290 hash at 240

 sol
My 2 * 280x both are stable for Zcash mining using Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v8.0, when i adds 2*290x my rig gets hang/black screen or sometimes system shutdown.using following code in two different start bat file also tried in configure file;
for 280x
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -zwal MY WALLET ADDRESS -zpsw x -mport 0 -i 5 -di 01
for 290x
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -zwal MY WALLET ADDRESS -zpsw x -mport 0 -i 5 -di 23

also tried this;
for 280x
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -zwal MY WALLET ADDRESS -zpsw x -mport 2345 -i 5 -di 01
for 290x
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -zwal MY WALLET ADDRESS -zpsw x -mport 0 -i 5 -di 23

also tried -mport as 3333, -3333, (-mport 0, -mport 2345), (-mport 3333, -mport 0).

problem facing when claymore's v5 was released.

in flypool You need to add a worker with your wallet

ZecMiner64.exe -zpool eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -zwal t1YZMnyXStuGKykkFxM6Lh8DTVJdTMx6R51.WORKER -zpsw x

In a 42 Msol/s network Dwarfpool needs almost 2 hours to find a block (average).

The pool found the last block more than 9 hours ago.

We only get paid when blocks are found, in any pool

Dwarf is just unlucky at the moment  Sad

We need more miners there in order to balance the hashrate between pools

Let me share something funny. Year after year my family could afford to heat only half of our appartment during the winters. This winter my rigs gathered in 1 room generate so much heat that the temps in all rooms are around 30 C. We are literally walking in T-shirts and eating ice creams while outside we have snow and temps -10 C. Not only that but we get paid for these heating devices so our income doubled. Life is great!  Thanks Sir Claymore! Grin Cheesy

Why when I use 2 boards does the board yield better?

180 rx480 260 390x

However the 390x alone makes 300
Is there any difference in using pci-e 1x?

Hi guys. Its me with the weird R9 280X doing 205 Sol/s

I know that my wattage seems weird and they are.

I changed my wattage to 150W (my highest measurement) on the comparison page:
https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/ZCash_mining_GPU_Comparison

I tryed to check my wattage even further and i used 2 different methods this time.

1. method is a high-grade wattage-meter sitting between my PC and the power plug.
The meter is a Telco Sensors ST2300A aprooved by one of the biggest power-companys in Denmark (SEAS-NVE).

2. Method was calculating the wattage from the data showing in GPU-Z (Voltage multiplyed by Amps)

And here is my results:

WALL:
Idle: 155 - 160 W
Mining: 290 - 310 W
135 - 150 W
(I'm only using my R9 280X)

GPU-Z:
VDDC: 1.133 - 1.146 V
VDDC Current: 83 - 104 A
94 - 119 W

They do use some power when idling too, you need to add that to calculations.

If you have one powered riser and a spare psu it is very easy to check. Wall - meter - psu - (riser + pcie power connectors), so only one psu that feeds only that one gpu connected to meter.

That leaves only speculations for psu efficiency.

I'm about to give up on dwarfpool... Angry

Almost 12 hours without one single block being found  Huh

It's too much variance for me, and it really feels like a waste of time and hashpower  Undecided

Hey all,

Wanting to build another mining rig using this older cpu, motherboard and RAM (below). I have this stuff kicking around, will Zcash mining work with 4GB of DDR2? This motherboard supports a maximum of 4GB DDR2 so I can't add any more sticks Sad

I was planning on buying an RX470 4GB for this rig. I have a decent 600 Watt power supply which will be plenty and planning to use Windows 7. thanks

AMD ATHLON 64+ 3200 2.0 GHZ SOCKET AM2 CPU

2 X 2GB DDR RAM (4GB TOTAL)
XMS2 CORSAIR 800 MHZ

ASUS M2N68-AM SE2
SOCKET A MOTHERBOARD

I've got single-card rigs running 2 GB of RAM on the MB.
My dual 280x rig has 4 GB - yes, the GPUs have more total memory than the MB does.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

So according to the table, a R9 280x (205 sol/s@130W) is more efficient than a RX 480 (205 sol/s@180W) ?

That's weird.
I'm pretty sure that the 280x are in the 180-210w range ... that's certainly the case with 1100 core clock

440 watts total for my dual 280x rig - so 180-200 watts per card sounds about right (MB and CPU and MB RAM etc eats some).

That's stock Gigabyte Windforce 3x cards at 1100/1500

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

i agree im beginning to wonder myself.. At current pool hr they should find ~ 14 blocks per day. = ~1 msols/s / 41 msols/s x 576 blocks per day

Im getting the feeling im donating this day today:)
