No pump only dump lol The price is stable now. So pump might come later. the huge price increase will happen when Alpha-bay starts accepting it, just like happen with monero. And I'm not taking into account the ramsonware guys starting to ask payment in zcash. Those miners selling now will kick themselves very hard you know where. Call me crazy but every coin I mine I'm booking it as $250.

Ubuntu 16.04 RX 470 4GB
Non of the changes I make in cclock, powlim, ccddc seem to have any noticeable effect on my watt-meter or on the sol rates in the miner. Only changing the intensity visibly changes both and tt and ttli are working fine.
Should I load or start the amdgpu-pro program first or something for claymore to be able to make changes? Because of a bug in Lightdm and gdm not working either, since I installed the amd drivers, I'm just using command line. I can't get to the desktop to see the amd configuration program.
And just to be sure: using a negative number for powlim, lowers the maximum power usage for the cards, right? Or does a postive number equal a decrease?

Reset the GPU to the default values and see whats happens. If it continues under clock it. How old is the GPU? Also how many GPU's are on the motherboard and power supply do you have?

I have 3 GPU and 3 more power supply one 600 power color shocker and 2 corsair cx 500. use watttool; change P7 state in the left column to 1150mh (core) and ram to 1950 (MHz) to start. Change fan min speed t o more spped. and max fan speed to 100% capacity. Change the temeprature target to 80C.. Now run the miner. If you are still getting error then I cant help. But if there is no error; then slowly increase clock speed on both core and ram and keep an eye on temperature and power intake. This is just the start.. slowly optimize the card. have you done any bios modding? If yes; then you need to use polaris bios editor and decrease the clock status from the highest clock to 1200 or lower. (you can change it later in watttool).. play with it

Is already in the default value but the error still persists. I have 3 GPU and 3 more power supply one 600 power color shocker and 2 corsair cx 500. Isolate everything by only having minimum components so, only one keyboard & mouse; monitor, memory module, CPU, 1 GPU, your 600W power supply, motherboard, & SSD or HD Also remove any risers from system then turn and attempt to mine. turn off system If it works than add another GPU with or without the riser and test again If it works then add another GPU with or without the riser and test again, however if it failed then your issue is most likely power. You'll need to get a dual power supply adapter and either use the 600W with the 500W power supply or use both 500W power supplies using things like flash drives, USB 3.0/3.1, in place of HD or even SSD's, DDR3L/ DDR4 will help as well with saving power to the rest of the system. Another thing to remember to is that you should only have the 500W power supplies only supplying about 320W that includes the 20% that is lost due to inefficiency if it's and 80+ white label power supply.

lots of reasons have been discussed. Simple answer would be look at the base core clock for both cards. 1060 is higher.

Catalyst (Crimson) 15.12 is required for best performance and compatibility. You can get very bad results for different drivers version, or miner can fail on startup.
For me this was not true, it was the crimson 15.12 drivers causing the miner to crash. I'd tried every troubleshooting trick in the readme to no avail and even asked in these forums, nothing worked. If your miner is crashing or If you are having stability issues update to the latest relive drivers from AMD. I was really confused on this one because I have two identical Optiplex 390 machines, both running windows 10 pro, both with newest A11 bios, both with onboard video enabled too, both with 8 gb of ram, and both with R9 fury's in them. One has been running flawless for almost a month and the other wouldn't run at all. I'm sure I used the 15.12 drivers on the machine that was working when I set it up, but that was in the earlier days of claymore (9.0) and I must have left the automatic driver update option checked. Some change made between 9.0 and 9.2 causes issues with the 15.12 drivers on certain rigs. Just to be thorough I removed the newest drivers on the optiplex that has been working and installed the 15.12 drivers and zecminer64 would crash right after card detection every time. Updated to newest drivers with clean install option and it's working again.

Why is this ? where 3 cards are available separately r9 390 - 315 h / s and if you add r9 390X and 290x, only 5 cards are beginning to give out r9 390 - 295 h / s, who can say? The difference of 20 h / s .thanks

I would delete it even if You send it for free. If You don't believe what I'm talking about: --no-fee is free and I'm not using it.

Maybe your CPU is too weak.
