what is i 8?HuhHuh?

-i 8 is the mining intensity parameter, default value is 6. (8 is the maximum value)

read the first post of this topic or readme.txt in miner package.

1150\1500

but stock 290x only 315 sol\s

what core/mem freq do you use?

all card at 1150\1500
but card with bios mod 372 sol\s

holy crap you managed to get same hashrate with modded bios 290x as I did with stock bios 390x

Nice! now only if I could get my hands on 390x modded bios (hynix and elpida mem)

Hm, i have sapphire 4 gb tri-x 290x and I have flashed to modded bios from Modded R9 390X BIOS for R9 290/290X  thread on oveclock.net named 290X_HYNIX_MOD_V1.8.rom and it gives 355 sols.
I can set only 1090/1450 otherwise the card hangs on 1100/1500. Did you use the same 1.8 version of modded bios?

Good afternoon,

please help me if you can, last time I left my PC mining with AMD Radeon R9 290 Calymore Zcash miner v9.1 when I came back few days ago the computer was froozen. Every time I start the miner (I tried versions v11,v10,...) its freezing after the first line(even with intensity 1).

I tried to mine etherium its working with claymore software, I have everything set as required and it was working for few weeks stable(suddenly stops). I also changed the psu but same mistake. Im not using risers. Anybody any idea?

Claymore, We wait Linux v.11
me too...
Please do not make us linux users unhappy.
me too...

+100
I offer to chip in for the speed of the process.

We already "chip in" more than enough..he has received tens of thousands of dollars from linux users and continues to do so, just like every other windows user, but still decides to treat linux users second rate.

Hey, give the man a break. He does not owe it to anyone to do anything. If we use his software, we do it because WE make money. And of course he does too, as he rightfully should. If he decides to leave Linux behind, it's his choice. We will make less, if we use software that is slower than his, and he will make nothing. But again, it's his choice!

Here's a pretty complete guide on mining Zcash Headless on Ubuntu 16.04 using AMD R9 boards. They are kind of power hungry, so I would recommend something like the AMD RX480. Claymore's linux miner is definitely the way to go right now.

I spent a lot of time for Polaris, so update for Tonga will be available in a day, not too much improvements for now, hashrate of my 380 increased from 165H/s to 175H/s. It takes a lot of time to optimize kernels for every card so don't expect max speed for all cards at once.
I will also build asm kernels for 16.x drivers so you can use 16.11.3 (some other versions as well) instead of 15.12.
Linux version will be released as soon as I finish current round of optimizations.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Tried diffrent drivers on my R9 Nano. No "asm" so no speed update... Funny that 290 and 7950 work just great

As mentioned above, use 16.3.2 with fijis.
You get interessting result with this driver on R9 Fury family ?
I got 9 x R9 Fury something like 330-370 H/s (-45% power limit)
With -asm 0 -a 2 parameters.
