Usually this occurs due to the intensity.
what are your command line in the miner &?
I'm just running the default settings, with just my mining pool and account/pass in the command line.

Interesting fact: after modification timings Gigabyte HD7950 gives stable ~330H/s with 1% rejected. (1190/1470) - Pic 1 If increase mem frequency up to 1500, GPU gives ~361 H/s. But about 15% of rejected. In log file appears strings of buffer overflow. - Pic 2 Pic 1 Pic 2 What does this buffer overflow mean ? Obviously, hashrate indexes is not very accurate ? What voltage do you have to overvolt to get it stable at 1190 Mhz core? would love to know that too. my fully oc msi 7950 only gives me 260, those numbers are what i get with a 290x modded as 390x

Does mclock work on linux ?
use atitweak utility on linux. I do not think it's good for miner to set clocks. its not its job. miner needs to mine best and gpu setting utility needs to set clocks and fans best. its unix.

Dear all i have some 290x cards i am looking for best C/memory setting to give max hashrate in zec
i try 1050/1450 and result is 330h/s in some cards but do nothing in r9 290x gigabyte windforce - max is still 277h/s
also i have some 280x - 285x - 380x nitro cards i want to know also the best setting for it
i use win7,,8, and 10 in different rigs with 16.9.2 - 16.8.2 drivers v11.1 claymore

small noob question. cant find any hint in the FAQ file. how can i stop claymore from closing if claymore cannot connect to any pool? sometimes the connection is lost and claymore restarts and freezes all my rigs due to driver problem. can i set claymore to try the connection as long till he connects?

With 1190mhz I am guessing he needs it running at 1.25V or 1.30V, which is never a good idea on any Gigabyte Windforce GPUs since the triple fans are very weak. And I am sure that would pull very close to 300 Watts at the wall from that 7950.

' Try -wd 0 It turns off watchdog, and if a GPU crashes it doesn't auto restart which causes any Rx 470/RX 480 to instantly freeze the system to the point where it needs to by phyiscally power cycled. No idea if it does the same thing if a pool dies.

Hello. Who has the video card Sapphire Vapor R 280 x. What should be the temperature of the core and memory at Mining on Claymore. On my memory card temperature rises to 90 degrees. Without overclocking. It is not right? What to do? On the other coins storage temperature of 70 degrees. Thank you.

what percentage is your fans running at? my 280 non x version is running at 75 degrees with 39% fan with out overclock giving me 236h/s you can always use the -tt command line function to set a target temperature for your card. once it hits that the fans will increase to try to keep it at that level

Vapor series were meant like "super overclocked" cards so they came with really high stock voltage, you need to undervolt the card to get reasonable temperatures.

Can you will prompt how to do it? Or give me a link to the instructions ?. Thank you.

could be a difference in memory. I think the 330 card is a Hynix card and the others might be Elpida. To get more out of them you can do Stilt timing / memory strap mods to the cards. You will have to do a setting in the motherboard BIOS to get the cards working since the vga bios is edited. But it works fine. There is no ideal clockspeeds for max hash. as long as your memory timings are low. Higher clocks are better. If you go to high memory will give errors ECC will correct it but you will be slower then. Higher clock = more power usage if you pay for power you might lose money istead of making money. Thats why most people undervolt cards and somtimes underclock them a bit for better efficiency. For 280X also timing mods! -asm 1 helps a lot but without timings are key. with stilt timings you can get 235-240 with hynix memory. And with ASM you get 270 (that was with 1000-1375) if you go for higher clocks 300 is possible.
