Finally I can use assembler exactly as I want.
I will release two updates this week, first update will be released in 2-3 days.

Wow that must of been a lot of work over the weekend.  This stuff ain't exactly easy.  For those that want magical updates, feel free to help in the open source Gateless Gate project by zawawa, here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1716584.0

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Gateless Gate  is awesome. Didn't know about this. Just tried it and got --7% less than Claymore. This guy is really getting closer :-)

Question: Can I run 6 x Fury on a single 1500W PSU? What's the peak power consumption? If not, would a 1600W PSU work? Trying to get down to 1 PSU per rig. (Non modded Fury, stock everything running Claymore 11.1)

1300w is enough if it is good PSU, like SF or EVGA. 1600w safe.

Stock, Most likely no.

on my 1500w psu Running 4, with mobo, HD, risers, with a slight OC, I'm pulling 1250 to 1333

second psu running only 3 it pulls 713-780 with slight OC

IF you are undervolting, and bring one up at a time, testing, Maybe..

But then you have to worry about peaks and startup... not to mention you will be running past the 50% to 80% sweetspot on the PSU

Yup !  Its an awesome project really.  His SGminer fork can also do other coins, but he's mainly concentrated on ZCash.  I'm waiting for the next update, he is doing god's work Smiley

I have a 6 Fury rig that runs 1650W at the wall with Gold rated PSUs (stock bios).  When I load an 'eco' bios on the secondary switch the rig runs 900W at the wall.  You may be able to get away with a single 1600W PSU, but if you're going to drop that kind of cash you may as well pick up a 1000W G3 and a 800W G3 for the same price.  You'd get a bit more overhead on the PSU to keep you under 80% (stock bios) and even get close to your 50% sweet spot if you under-volt.

Edit: The multi-PSU approach with new generation G3 also ensures that every single VGA cable has an 8-pin power plug.  An EVGA 1600 G2 only has nine (9) 8-pin power and then five (5) 6-pin power.  You'd also have to purchase a few adapters if you go with a single 1600W as you will need twelve (12) 8-pin for a 6 Fury rig.

What is the 'ECO Bios' effect on hash rate? Would you mind sharing your general settings, Bios etc? I run Claymore 11.1

Stock bios runs 2,500 H/s @ 1650W for $2,200 = ~1.51 H/watt and ~1.14 H/$ (price and power is entire rig)
'Eco" bios runs 2,000 H/s @ 885W for $2,200 = ~2.26 H/watt and ~0.9 H/$ (price and power is entire rig)

The 'eco' bios has a 50% PL with -125mV at 900/400.

All my ZEC rigs just locked up all at once. No idea if the pool died or not but it was a hard reset.

Had to physically yank the power cord from wall and replug.

Upon checking log, they all got the Temperature 511 error. So I dont think its a hardware issue since every rig got this error all at the same time.

Anyone got this issue also?

The profit is too low. We need a faster version .

Excuse me but when you have seen any better profits with faster version coming out?
If you would try to remember, then the best ZEC profits were during first days, when only very slow miners were available. They had low power usage that contributes to good profit, but key factor is how much miners are on it vs populariy among coin buyers. Can you name any single coin where it has not been this way?

Yea not many people can wrap their heads around that concept. People see MOOOR SPEED and immediately think that means more profits. These are probably the same people that are buying GPUs now and think they can still ROI in a few months  Roll Eyes

Of course these updates to public miners have a single major advantage, and thats leveling the playing field for home miners vs large farms that have been running 100 sol/s + since day 1

ROI in a few months - of course not. But in maybe 10 months or a year is doable. Depends on what coin will follow and what electricity rates you are paying.

it is a HW issue mate. check your risers & gpu these 2 are the main culprit.

Honestly sounds like power spike or something of that nature. No way you just randomly had a hardware error hit all your rigs without outside interference.

I thought of that but my ETH rigs were running fine. Two rigs were even on the same breaker. The ZEC went off the ETH stayed on.

This is some software issue. Maybe it only happens when a pool dies.

I had this error before on some rigs, I assumed it was a riser or gpu. But this happened on all my ZEC rigs at the exact same time. Its definately software related. All of them got that same error at the exact same second according to the log
